I sat down staring at my drawing of a red aeroplane that looked like a dolphin. My mind wandered to the memories not paying attention to what I'm staring at anymore.

"Aeroplane?" She asked.

"Yes aeroplane".

"Nu, airplane."

"Aeroplane!"

"Wut, there's no such word. It's an airplane!"

"My teacher said aeroplane! "

Our silly arguments, it was one of the things I missed the most. It won't stop until we laughed at how silly it was. She is stubborn, a way lot more than me. But we get along really well. I always thought it was cute. I still do, I have to admit.

Between us is something I really want to protect and keep somewhere deep within me. It is what makes me feel alive, better than I already am. Even after all the things you said, even after what you made me feel, I still feel lucky that I had the chance to stay by yourside. I feel lucky that I made you smile, laugh and happy.

"let's eat lunch" Startled, turning my head to the side seeing my mom standing there. I smiled sadly and nodded my head.

"Yeah."

Mom left my room and I grabbed my phone. Rereading my bestfriend's question over and over again before typing a reply.

So how do you know it's over ?

Cause I'm inlove with the memories more than I love her now. It's always the memories that stays with you, in your heart. Always.
