A Fresh New Start

FARAWAY Town seemed like such a quaint town to Summer that he was sure he'll make friends fast despite being more kept to himself and quiet. His parents always did say he was more of a listener than a talker and he embraced it. His interests rested more in reading along with singing and music since he wasn't cut out for sports due to his small frame and stature.

When Summer looked at his new home he was sure that this move will bring waves of new experiences, if they were good or bad depending on how he'll handle it but there surely won't be any change too drastic for him to not find a peaceful solution!

"What should I do since I've finished unpacking?" I said to myself. There was no idea clue to go since he was in a new place and his parents always allowed him to explore as long as he came back before dark since he was only 16. Summer gazed across the road to see a park with a fun cat-themed tunnel of sorts along with swings and a bench, it seemed like fun so he decided why not.

I approached the park to see if there was anything worthwhile but the more I delved into the park I found what looked like a place to hang out since there was a picnic cloth on the ground. The more I investigated concealed by the bushes around me helped to find a group of 5 people near it and they didn't exactly look their best but I didn't want to voice out that mean opinion out loud.

It seems they haven't spotted me or they just didn't care enough to point it out. I don't usually intrude into a group but I felt like they needed it to just ask if they were okay. Summer whispered "Um, are you guys okay?" in case they ask me to go away. I can't believe I'm doing this.

(POV: The Group)

We were all still stewing in grief from what happened to Sunny, it was heart-wrenching to keep going on with their lives now that one of them has been gone for 4 years. Mari thought it was only right for them all to gather again at the old hangout spot, so she convinced them all to come as both for a way to reconcile and see each other.

Hero has been there for Mari since Sunny meant the world to her, she regretted pushing him to be perfect it hurt now he's gone even Hero felt the sorrow. Hero came back from college to support Mari and since his courses came to an end.

Kel & Basil weren't holding on the best either since they were quite close with Sunny in doing everything together. You could even see the dark bags beginning to form under their eyes, Kel's signature smile wasn't even present on his face anymore and Aubrey felt this hole in her heart and it will always hurt.

While they were in their own thoughts a gentle voice disrupted it and the sad thing was it reminded them so much of Sunny and how gentle he was.

"Um, are you guys okay?"

The whispered question came from a boy in the bushes stepping out and when they got a closer look they couldn't help but gasp in surprise and maybe slight happiness? He looked almost EXACTLY like Sunny, having a small thin stature and a non-readable face hell even his hair was split in the middle with a bang except his hair was a bit messier and disheveled than Sunny's usual neat style and he had a musical note on the right side of his head.

The only thing that snapped them back to reality are the slight changes in appearance like how the iris in his eyes aren't a beautiful onyx with a white pupil like his sister's instead they were a burning amber, even his hair color was auburn close to Kel and Hero's hair with a tint of red.

With his clothes he had a turquoise shirt with 3 buttons/pins of musical notes and one mole sprout cartoon on the right side of his shirt in a triangular formation with a white undershirt and tan cargo shorts; besides simple black socks and white dress shoes (Quite a combination?)
