"Sir, I've done as you said without letting Mr. and Mrs. Malhotra know. The flight is at 12:30"

My P.A., Aditya informed me to come through the doors of my cabin to inform me about my plan.  Due to some issue in our Delhi branch, I have been here for one and a half months so I wanted to surprise Mom and Dad by coming early. They think I'm coming next week.

Today I have my last meeting here to short out the remaining things and my mood is already ruined because of this headache.

"Okay"

it was the only reply that came through my mouth but then I continued "Listen get me some aspirin in five minutes"

"Yes, sir I'll get it, anything else?"

"No, you may go now"

At this I was annoyed and frustrated, if he was here for a few more minutes then I will snap at him for sure which I don't want to do.

Poor guy.

The moment he left my cabin, I groaned in pain. In the meantime, I lifted my hand and began pressing my fingers on my temples to relieve the pain until Aditya arrived.

Just then after a few seconds, I felt a knock on the door.

"Come in"

As I suspected, it was Aditya. He had a white paper bag in his hand which I assume contained my medicine.

"Sir, ye lijiye" (Sir, here you go)

He said as he handed me the medicine. My hand reached for a glass of water on my desk, and I took one pill and swallowed it. Closing my eyes in search of some peace

Silence crept through the cabin making me feel better. My eyes opened a few minutes later to see him still there.

"Thanks, Aditya, tum ja sakte ho" (you may go now)

As I said that he returned the same emotion, and a small smile spread across my face.

"Sir, I suggest you take a nap."

Again this "sir", even if I want to ignore it, I can't, since I know he's trying to irritate me. He wants a vacation, but due to my workload, I can't provide it. He's the only man I can trust in my company; if he leaves, my schedule will be messed up.

"I will if you stop calling me 'sir' "

I told him I was highly frustrated because of his annoying act. He knows how much I hate "sir" from him, yet he continues to do this but deep down I know that I will agree one day.

"Sorry to disappoint you sir but that will happen if you permit me."

Even if his expressions were blank, I could still feel him grinning.

"Then fuck off"

He let out a chuckle and left without a word. I don't even need to worry because we both are used to this.

A faint smile spread across my face and not even a second passed before complete silence enveloped everything as soon as I closed my eyes. This was after I drifted into the darkness that has surrounded me for a long time.

When I awoke, I glanced at my wristwatch to see the time and decided to freshen up for the meeting because I had time for it.

When I returned, I noticed Aditya standing in the middle of the cabin looking through some files he had bought with him. As soon as he registered my presence, he turned his gaze to me rather than the file and gave me a soft smile. Which was kind of weird because he usually has a teasing smile or a smirk plastered on his face. Unknowingly, I raised my eyebrow.

"Sir, here you go..."

He said before placing the files on the desk and then continued.

"...the files, jo aapne mangaye the" (...the files you asked for)

It wasn't long before I made my way to the desk, sat down on the chair, and began reviewing the files I had before me. A satisfying feeling spread inside me seeing the content in the file arranged how it should be.

"Thanks...so how many days?"

One aspect about him that I like a lot is that he knows me from top to bottom. Hence, I don't need to use many words to convey my message to him. I think this is an advantage for me, so I consider it a positive point.

"Sir...just one week"

I found it frustrating when he added more pressure to "Sir," causing me to roll my eyes.

"Sir, aapko nahi lagta bohot choti hai" (Sir, don't you think it's very short)

It was clear that innocence poured from his face, but it was a fake expression, and this prompted me to mentally face-palm him.

How can he be so insufferable?

This bastard.

"Shut up and listen. I have a few conditions before allowing you..."

As soon as I finished speaking to him, his wide smile disappeared from his face. It was evident that he was frowning due to whatever I had said to him. I was delighted to see his expression as I continued.

"You should inform me a month before and it shouldn't be more than a week and if you cross that limit, you know what I'll be doing so be aware. You must arrange for me a temporary P.A., and if that person makes any mistakes, you must return the same day"

I ordered while reviewing the last file I ordered. Moving my head, I entirely focused on him while studying his face in search of any expression and I found it:

Annoyed and irritated.

" Now coming to work, get these files and tell them that they did a good job and prepare the meeting room I'm coming in a few minutes"

"...And finally, any news about that designer mom liked?"

I continued with a hint of hope because we don't have much. Since Mom and Dad's anniversary is just a few months away, I wanted to fulfill her wish to have an outfit designed by her favorite designer for their special day, but it seems like no one knows about her.

"Yes bro, we got it", ladies and gentlemen here comes THE ADITYA

"and the meeting is at 3 pm" He grinned wildly

I already knew Mom's topic would distract him

"Good"

He turned around to go out when I said

"Don't forget about that temporary P.A." I said having a small smirk on my face

His head jerked towards me, then he glared at me and walked out before closing the door. He knew how much I hated open doors. Unknowingly a laugh erupted from my mouth
