(Shrignold's POV)

(TW: Alluding to homophobia)

When I woke up with a bit of a headache, however I shook it off, just taking some pills to help it go away. I started to head down to the kitchen to make me something to eat. It took a while to get there since it's my second day living there. So when I got there everyone was talking with one another. I went to make some toast, while I was making toast it suddenly went quiet. When I turned around to see why everyone went quiet, soon I realized everyone was staring at Tony. It looked like he was about to pop a vessel, I turned my head to see what or who he was staring at. He was staring at Larry. Larry seemed to understand the look better than me. He had left the kitchen and came back dressed ready to go somewhere. Tony had gone back to drinking... well whatever he was drinking.  Larry had walked over to me seemingly annoyed. "Hey Shrigs. Wanna come with me to the store?" Larry asked while leaning onto the counter. "Sure, let me get ready." I said, giving him a piece of toast to eat. He nodded, eating the piece of toast that I gave to him. I went upstairs to find my room. I had gotten dressed, and came downstairs to meet Larry at the front door. "That was quick." He said while opening the door. I walked outside waiting for him to come along. "I always tried my best to be." I said jokingly, which earned a chuckle from him. We started to walk towards the store basically learning more about each other as we go. "Well we're here." He said while walking inside. "Quick question." I said while he grabbed a shopping cart. "Yeah?" He said, raising a brow. "Why did Tony look like he was about to blow a fuse?" I asked, my head tilting a bit. "Oh. That was because I forgot to go to the store yesterday since you saw that I wasn't really sober" He said referring to his drunken state. "Oh, that kind of makes sense." I said, following him around the store. Soon we had paid for our stuff and started to head back home. While we were walking I heard Larry chuckling a bit. "What are you chuckling about?" I asked, turning my head towards him. "Well we could sneak out tonight." He said chuckling, while holding up a bottle of cheap booze. "I would come however we have our lessons today. Plus your lesson specifically is at night since you teach about dreams." I said while giving him a certain look. "Aw come on Shrigs. It'll be fun." He said, giving a sad face. "Okay fine. However. You need to promise that you won't get drunk and we need to go after your lesson." I said. "Oh fine." He said while groaning. When we got back to the house I helped him unpack the bags. Once we were done we needed to do our lessons. It went one by one. First Paige, next Tony, then me. When I started my lesson I didn't know what to expect. But by the end of the lesson, I knew that the others would have negative feelings due to the homophobic remarks that felt was forced out of me. I had decided to go and walk around the forest where my lesson took place. But soon enough everyone was blowing up my phone, some annoyed by what I said, and others telling me to get home. However, I just ignored them and shoved my phone into my pocket. I didn't really want to deal with them at the moment. I had sat on a stump staring off into space. I didn't know if I wanted to go back or not.

(Larry's POV)

Everyone was everywhere after Shrig's lesson. Some were pissed at him while others were wondering where he was but not because they wanted to confront him. I was sick of everyone at the time and chose to go and look for him. "Where are you going?" Tony asked while glaring at me. "I'm going out." I said with an irritated tone. "Not unless you're finding Shrignold." He said, not really appreciating my tone. "Well I'm going regardless." I said, walking out of the door. I closed the door before Tony could utter a single word. I went out to find Shrigs. I started towards the forest due to his lesson taking place there. Soon I found him sitting on a stump, seemingly zoned out. I walked up and sat next to him. I had nudged him a bit to get him back to reality. He had jumped looking over at me. It looked like he was about to cry. Out of instinct I had pulled him into a hug. "If you want can you explain why you said what you had said?" I had asked hoping to find a reason. "I.. I don't know, it felt like I was being forced to say those things. I don't even know who those people were." He started to speak, his lip quivering. I sat there listening to what he said. "I was going along with it at first but they started to say the homophobic remarks and that's when I tried to stop but they didn't let me and tried to get me to tag along with their reasons and opinions while making me say what they wanted to hear." He finished, tears starting to run down his face. I had comforted him while he wept on my shoulder. Once he had calmed down which took way longer than I expected. We started to head home. I had stayed in front of him since I had a feeling that at least one of them was out for blood. When we walked in everyone was standing in the living room. Everyone was staring daggers at him. Before anyone could say anything I had made a summary of what he had told me and explained the situation to them. Not everyone had believed me nor him. "How could he have possibly been forced to say it? It's practically impossible." Tony said looking like he was about to fight Shrignold. Everyone had dropped the situation after getting tired of it. With the problem done for the time being, the lessons continued as normal. Going onto Colin, the food group, then me. There was this weird pattern in the lessons. Starting off innocent enough then going horribly wrong at the end. Soon every one was called into the living room after my lesson was done. After we all had talked about what happened no one would talk about how the weird duck dude just died. Everyone was about to leave the room when I decided to finally say something. "So are we not gonna talk about the duck dude dying?" I asked while leaning on the arm of the arm chair. Tony had turned around confused about what I had said. "Who killed him and when was this?" He asked. "It was during the food group's lesson, there were these two big cans that started to eat his organs." I said while staring at them. Once I said that Tony turned to the food group and started to go back and forth with them. After going back and forth Tony finally let us go about our business.

(Shrignold's POV)

When we had gotten back to our rooms Larry had walked into my room, sitting down next to me. He was holding the cheap booze he had bought while we were at the store; he handed me some in a cup. "No thank you." I said, pushing the cup away. His face seemed to contort so a bit of sadness or disappointment. "C'mon, you said you would." He said. "After the lessons were finished" He continued. "I don't feel like it, not after what had happened today" I said, averting my gaze towards the ground. He nodded understanding. I had put on a movie while he drank. After some more cups of the cheap booze he was completely drunk; though I didn't want him to get this drunk, it was funny to see him stumble on his words when he'd try to tell a story. Soon he was just randomly saying things. After a couple more hours of him getting more drunk, he just passed out. I would have moved him to his room, but I was too tired to even keep my eyes open long enough. After some time I fell asleep; unaware of my surroundings.

A/N: Sorry that I've been MIA for like months. Just dealing with school and life, but I might be posting at least once a week. Also I redone some of the chapter, just fixing grammar and stuff like that. Anyways I'll be working on the third chapter for this. And for my Sally Face lovers I'll be working on the second chapter once I finished with the third chapter of this book.
