Since that day we went on a strict schedule in the dorms. For some reason they were treating me like a delicate flower. And suddenly there were now 8 Chads in my life. "Yeona, are you done? You're gonna be late to your appointment" "Yeah" I said opening my bedroom door to be met with a rather smiley Jake.
"Oh cause Heeseung is waiting for you. Or should I say your boyfriend is" he said wiggling his eyebrows. "Just shut up" I said rolling my eyes and went to the living room. "You have everything you need?" Heeseung asked not sparing me a glance, eyes glued to his phone as he stood near the door. I frown at this, contemplating whether or not I should answer since he wouldn't seem to care either way.
"Yeah" I answered as if it didn't bother me. I let out a soft sigh whilst standing there and crossing my arms over my chest. Do we really have to go together?... "You look pretty today Yeona" Jay says making Heeseung glance at me silently, shoving his phone into his pocket. His eyes skim over my form scanning my outfit which was a white jeans and a black long-sleeved off shoulder top.

"Let's just go" Heeseung says with a sigh turning around and walking towards the door. "Thanks for the compliment Jay" I say hurrying towards the door trying to catch up with Heeseung. He takes big strides, clearly not thinking to accommodate my pace. As we reach the elevator he holds the doors open for me and once I'm in he presses the button for the underground parking lot.
We're silent, the tension between us thick in the air. As we reach the underground parking lot we get into the mini-van and their manager drives us to the hospital. 'Can't we just get there already' I thought to myself as we sat in heavy traffic, complete silence. He's mad and I get that, but it's been 3 weeks. We go for an appointment every second week. If this keeps up I might just go crazy. We're just constantly avoiding the elephant in the room... I hate this.
We arrive at the hospital and hand our permission card to the receptionist. She gives it back after scanning it and logging us in. With that done we make our way towards the doctor's office.
Heeseung POV I'm not gonna lie I hate this, this silence between us, it eats away at me like hell. It's been years since I've let myself feel safe around someone. Even if I have the members by my side, she feels like a safe place. My Safe Place. So why... "Okay, so your results came back Ms. Eun" the doctor said as he came in and sat at his desk. "Is that so?" she asked the doctor. She seems nervous I can tell by the way her leg is bouncing up and down.
"I've already emailed your brother the results as per Mr. Lee's request and it shows that you are safe enough to return to your active workouts. I would advise that it be 2 to 3 times per week." he said with a smile, making both of us sigh with relief. "I have added new medication to your prescription list. It will help with your pain after workouts" the doctor said handing me -her boyfriend/caretaker- the list. "I'll get these for her then" I said as we bowed and thanked the doctor.
Yeona POV As we left I got a notification. It was from Luke.

Kindly tell your parents they lost their daughter 8 years ago and I refuse to cut my trip short.
With that I shove my phone into my handbag after putting it on DND. Once again the ride back to the dorms is silent, and this time it's really starting to gnaw at my nerves. When we finally arrive at the dorms I grab the bag of meds from Heeseung and go straight to my room, slamming the door shut.
Jake POV "What's with Noona?" Niki asks as the noise woke him from his slumber. Him sitting up trying to blink away his drowsiness. "Yeah, why's she so upset? Did the two of you argue again?" I ask Heeseung to which he just scoffs. "I don't know. Everything went well and she seemed fine until she got a message. Then suddenly her mood changed" he answers nonchalantly with a shrug.
"So what were her results?" Jay asks as he comes from the kitchen, sitting on the couch next to Niki. "She can start with her normal routines again. And she has to take more medication after workouts or so for pain." he says as he throws himself onto one the other couches. "Cool. That's great news. Maybe I should try and get her to go to a café with me. That way we can talk without her feeling uncomfortable" I suggest. "Yeah she might need some fresh air" Jungwon says nodding, agreeing with my suggestion as he situates himself on Jay's lap.
"Or maybe she's just on her period." Sunghoon says and I shoot him a glare. "Just shut up!" I yell kicking his leg and head towards Yeona's room.
*Knock knock*
Yeona POV "Come in" I say while looking through my wardrobe taking into account what I still need to buy myself. "Sweetie~~ Let's get out of this place and get some fresh air" Jake says giving me a tight back hug. "Uhm okay" I say rubbing his arms for him to let go. "Really?!!" he asked, clearly shocked at the fact that I actually agreed without having to be persuaded.
"Yeah. Lemme just change into something more comfortable and then we can go." I say with a soft sigh giving him a fake smile. I really shouldn't let my parents' return ruin my time with Jake. But I easily get affected by their returns. This time I feel like they're planning something. Something that I might not be able to avoid... And to be completely honest, that terrifies me.
