Chapter 2: Becoming A Breadwinner

Sway Sway's POV

I eat my breadcakes and pet Jelly. Buhdeuce comes downstairs and starts eating.

"So bap, how many orders do we got?" He asked.

"A lot. Do you think it'd be be a good idea for (y/n) to help out?" I asked. 

"But then who will watch over Jelly?" He asked.

Now we're just asking each other questions with no answers.

"She can come with us!" I smiled.

The doorbell rings and Buhdeuce opens it.

"Hey (y/n)!" He greeted.

They walk over to me and Jelly. (Y/n) made my heart skip a beat.

"Hey Sway. What's up?" She asked me.

"Uh nothing much. How would you like to come with us to deliver bread?"

"But who will watch over Jelly?" She asked.

"We'll just take her with us." I answered.

"Okay!" She smiled.

I blushed more every time I see her smiled.

"Alright to the bread mines!" Buhdeuce smiled.

~Time skip to bread mines~

We were all in the mine kart rolling through the mines.

"So this is where all all the bread comes from?" (Y/n) asked.

"Yup, yup. Every loaf in the world comes from this bread mine." Buhdeuce answered.

"Cool." She replied, "So how old are you guys?"

"Well, I'm 18 and Buhdeuce is 12." I answered, "How old are you?"

"(y/a)." She answered.

"What do you like to do?" Buhdeuce asked getting bread.

"Uh...pet sit. I just love animals." She answered.

"Is that all you do?" I asked.

"Yeah." She answered pulling a huckleberry spaghetti out and falling down.

She stands up and brushes herself off. I walk over to her.

"How would you like to become a breadwinner?"

Her eyes widen and she smiles, "Really? You guys would let me join the crew?"

"Yeah! We could use a helping wing." Buhdeuce answered.

"Bu-but what about Jelly? What will she do?" She asked.

Man, all this pet-sitting business has gone to her head.

"I'm sure our friend Ketta can create robots that could take care of her." I answered.

"Let's roll!" Buhdeuce smiled.

We get out of the rocket van and walk to Ketta.

"Hey Ketta!" Buhdeuce and I yelled.

"What up my baps?!" She smiled.

"We need a favor. Can you create robots to watch over Jelly?" I asked.

"Sure! Wait who's that?" She asked pointing at (y/n).

"This is (y/n)! She's a new member of the breadwinning crew." Buhdeuce answered.

"Cool! Hi I'm Ketta, nice to meet you!" She smiled shaking (y/n)'s hand.

"Hi." (Y/n) smiled.

"2 robots coming right up!" Ketta smiled.

She built 2 robots in just 2 seconds.

"Lady and gentle-baps, the Sway Sway and Buhdeuce bots 3000!" She smiled.

"Cool." We all said.

"Ready. To. Care. For. Jelly." Sway Sway 3000 said.

"Come. Jelly." Buhdeuce 3000 said.

Jelly hops in Buhdeuce 3000's arms and they fly off.

"Thanks Ketta. Here's your wrench-bread." I said and handed it to her.

"Thanks guys. It was nice meeting you, (y/n)!" She smiled.

We got in the rocket van and zoom off.

"So (y/n) you'll be working in the back sorting the bread by orders." Buhdeuce told her.

(Y/n) walks to the back where all the loafs are.

"What's the order?" She asked.

"3 loafs of huckleberry spaghetti!" I answered.

She throws 3 loafs to us.

Your POV

I throw 3 loafs of huckleberry spaghetti at Sway Sway and Buhdeuce. We stop and Sway Sway delivers the loafs.

"Next order is 1 loaf of 47 grain." Buhdeuce said.

I grab the 47 grain and toss it to him. I did this all day. Tossing bread to both of them. After the day was over, I go home and collapse on my bed.

"So this is what it's like being a breadwinner." I mumbled.
