When thinking about the story line of Stray Kids, one could easily point out one of the main themes of their lore. Breaking free from a dystopian society. One will look into the music video "District 9" and see that it's true. They are trying to break free from whatever trapped them in.

But what if I said that Misun is the blueprint of everything that is going on within the Stray Kids lore? What if she's the main reason they are all going through everything they have been through already?

Rather she's the villain or a victim of mind control is up to you, take whatever I said with a grain of salt. But in order to really understand both sides of the argument, we must start with where it all began for the group. At least, in theory, that is.

Please be warned. These are all just theories and these are my own personal theories. Nothing is set in stone. So please have fun with this.

EPISODE ONE: HELLEVATOR

Hellevator is a state of mind

Hellevator is a state of mind.

The meaning of the song is to escape a hellish and painful life to something that is euphoric and filled with happiness. Hence the song named "hellevator".

The elevator is seen multiple times in the music video, taking the members from a sad and dreary place to a field of purple flowers with open skies and happiness.

Anytime they are seen in that happy place, the colors of the scene change to something light and colorful. Whereas whenever they aren't on it, the scene is dark and cold.

How does this involve Misun? Well, like I said, Hellevator is a state of mind for them.

Anytime Misun is shown in the music video, she seems more aware of the fact that they aren't actually free yet. They are stuck somewhere that is a false sense of security. Her eyes are always seen looking long straight up in the sky whenever the group is shown to be having fun in their haven.

And what does she see? A raven. A red eyed raven and it seems to follow her around throughout the entirety of the music video. It's there during her solo scenes, during the group scenes and it always seems as though she is the only one aware of its existence.

But every time she looks at it, her eyes slightly glow red. There's a point in the music video where she's in the middle of the purple field, staring straight at the raven. Like she was in a trance of some sort or she realizes something.

They aren't actually free. This Hellevator is not where they are actually supposed to be. They are trapped in a state of mind. And she's the only one who realizes that.

But whenever one of the boys grab her attention, she goes on as if she never saw it. Like she was trapped in a trance. Even though she is shown to recognize it's presence.

One would think. Why didn't she just tell them? Why keep it to herself?

The answer to that will be revealed in the next episode. Where we dive in deep with District 9.

This one was kind of short and I apologize for that, but I am having fun with this. So I hope you are too. The theorist in me is now coming back after being dormant for years. I think the last time I did an oc theory, I was still writing Jisoo book 2.

( by the way, y'all want a comeback to that? Let me know )

Love you all and see you next episode!
