Chapter 1

It all started when I was hiking with my friends. While we were half way through the journey, they left me in a ditch. It was cold and dark. The sides were too steep for me to climb out.

I was starving as I hadn't got any food or water in my backpack.Then I remembered I had hiking equipment in my bag(don't ask how I forgot).I started rummaging through to see if it was there. No. It turns out my "friends" had taken it out my bag as I fell.

When I was close to just giving up and staying there. A hand reached down into the pit. "Come on," a woman mumbled in a soft, soothing tone. I didn't know whether I could trust her or not. I mean she seemed sweet but so did my friends. "Uhmm who are you," I stuttered in a curious voice.
"Oh my deepest apologies ma'am, " the girl went on, "my name is Aspen Forreston. " She reminded me of an old friend I had with this little spark of energy and relaxation in there movements.
