Carter's Pov

All of the sudden I hear a rush of voices. And people crying. Not just anyone but Shea. Why is she crying? What happened? I blink a few times and my eyes adjust to the light.

Shea is leaning over me with her tears dripping down my face. I reach up with my left hand and brush her cheek. She leans into my hand, closes her eyes, and smiles.

"Hi," I say but in a hoarse voice from not talking in a long time."Hi," her voice sounds like silk. She leans over even more and kisses me. This kiss is full of passion,love, and even a little lust. What did I do to deserve this beautiful mate?

Shea's Pov

He's finally awake. If he hadn't of woken up I probably would've pulled out all of my hair from stress. I thought I was going to lose him. Thank god I didn't. I helped Carter sit up, he looked a little confused to why he was in the hospital. "You were in a car crash," I said. He looked even more confused then he said, "That's impossible, my reflexes would've saved me." I looked at Richard for an explanation. He painfully forced a smile and said, "When an alpha becomes a father his strength and reflexes leave him and go to the unborn child to help it grow. After the child is born the strength and the reflexes will go back to the father."

"Are you saying I'm pregnant?" I asked alarmed, I put a shaky hand on my stomach and felt a little kick. "Oh my god, I'm pregnant, I'm going to be a mother," I said. I think I'm going to faint. I'm too young to have a child. I want them but not now! I'm not even in collage yet!

Carter smiled and took my hand, knowing what was going through my head. "It's okay," he began, "We'll go through this together.

Carter's Pov:

A father. I'm going to be a father. I don't think I could be any happier at this moment. I can't believe I forgot about the whole giving away strength and reflex thing. I've known that for ever. I just hope Shea is okay with it.

I said through the mind link, "If it's a boy we name him Jake, Derek, Sam, Robert, Matt, James, Connor, Justin, Dustin, Thomas, Greg, Anthony, or Nolan. If it's a girl we name her Jessica, Marie, Amelia, Jessie, Delilah, Angela, Amber, Christina, Noel, Elizabeth, Renee, Dawn, Michelle, Katie, Rosie, Melissa, Samantha, or Audrey." I hope she won't freak out but I've been thinking of names for our children for a while now. Shea said through the mind link, "I like them. We have to tell my brother." Oh Luna goddess of the moon help us.

Thomas's Pov

"I'm going to be a mother." Those were the first words my sister has said to me in months. No hi, or hello, just I'm going to be a mother. "Im not mad, I have recently found my mate Stephanie and she also is pregnant. I was actually going to call you today and see if you and Carter would like to meet her," I waited for her reply. "OH MY GOD NOT STEPHANIE BANKS! NO WAY! WE WERE BEST FRIENDS IN KINDERGARDEN!!!!!!!!!" I chuckled,"I guess you'll be willing to meet her?" "Of course," She began, "How about today at 4:30 Carter is taking me to get an ultrasound at 2 and then we can come over." "Sounds good," I said and hung up the phone.

Shea's Pov

I filled Carter in on my phone call with Thomas and he said it was a great idea to meet Stephanie. The rest of the car ride was silent, both of us left to our own thoughts.
