"Kartik ! " Naira called him loudly when Kartik came out from the washroom , wiping his face with the towel
"What happened ?" He asked and came towards Naira and their babygirl on the bed
"Eva's body was burning with fever last night Kartik . Lets check her temperature now "
Naira said and tried to get up from the bed but she couldn't. Her back and head paining like hell
She was having high fever since last two days and with the touch of her Eva also having fever now
Kartik sat on the bed mattress and picked Eva on his arms
Patting her back soothingly He tried to calm her down as she was crying
"It's all happened because of me Kartik. Mom told me to stay away from her for some days untill I recover but just like the stubborn I'm, I didn't listen to her" naira said and tears fell down from her eyes
Kartik with Eva on his arms , shifted close to naira
"No no stay away Kartik, either you'll also fell sick "
"Stop it naira . Why are you worrying too much . It's fine " Kartik said and kissed her hairs then helped her to lay down again on the bed
Covering her with the comforter He got up from the bed
"I'm giving her bath okay . It'll help her to reduce the heat"

"Dadda" after stopping her cries Eva looked at her father and give a kiss on his cheek
"Yes my love . Are you feeling bad ?"
Eva nodded her head as no then "bhookii lagi hai Eva ko ,dadda " the two years old Eva spoke and caressed Kartik's cheeks with her soft palm
Kartik kissed her palms and nodded at her
"Baby and Dadda will make something for them okay . But let's go for a bath"
