Chapter Four

Lilith's Pov
At casually some point during the day, I felt like I was almost avoiding Rheanyra, I felt like she needed as much time as she needed with her children, leaving me to my lingering thoughts.

It wasn't a complete surprise that deep bonds run through our family, with uncle's marrying nieces and different brothers with sisters all along our bloodline had to be pure. Nothing better for future Dragonriders.

It seemed to wanna linger around Rhaenyra more then I liked passing by the eating quarters. A faint smile grew on my face at the sight of her sitting at the end of the table with Joffory gently playing with his little feet that wiggled about.

A soft like smile across her face. It was in moment like this were she looked so breathtaking, almost taking away the air on the room.

Her head suddenly tilted up meeting my eyes a smile was sent my way, her head gently nudging for me to enter the dimming hall, pulling out a chair to seat besides her. The thought of a baby made me panicked listening to the soft coos leaving the little baby's lips.

"He looks like you." I muttered watching the way she tilted her head towards me, the smile never leaving her face watching the way she scooted closer towards me, resting her head on my shoulder blade.

"Thank you.. For being by my side. You hold my heart so greatly." I shut my own eyes resting my head on top of her own, pressing a few to her warm temple.

She leaned into my embrace, such an intimate moment with her child in her arms, leaning into me even more. This was the Rhaenyra that no one ever saw, the fierce eyes. The softened and loneliness she held in her eyes. This here was the realms delight.

"Nyra.. As much as I would love to see your naked form in my bed every night.. You should spend some nights with your boys." My eyes trailed over her naked frame pressed laying on her stomach side, staring into the reflection of the dark red flames crackling about.

I saw the way she tilted her towards me, a playful like smile on her face as she twisted her form to look at me fully.

"Lilith, I am spending time with my love am I not? If you worry I spend to much time here so not worry I'm sure not a single soul knows where's the princess goes." It cued for me to roll my eyes gently in amusement, leaning in to capture her lips for a deep kiss.

One of her hands reached out grabbing at my face to pull me closer to her, moving her lips attentively against my own.

"Tell me that you love me.. Please?" She whispered desperately against my lips, the flush heat of both our lips connected with one another. I felt my own breath hitch gently grabbing at the back of her head so I could tilt her head back to look into the icy stare of her soft eyes.

"I'm scared to speak those words because I know my heart doesn't belong to you Rheanyra.. It belongs to my brother and the others you really do love." She shushed me gently with a press of another kiss to my lips, brushing her nose against my own in a few ways.

"My marriage with your brother was an agreement.. That we both have the same and it hasn't changed. Lilith come with me to dragonstone, with me. All of us my uncle included if we runaway there who is to stop us from our love? With you on the throne with me who could stop us." A soft chuckle of disbelief left from my lips cupping at her face even more in more own shift of shock.

"You mean leave Kingslanding? Now I deeply think you've had some wine Nyra.. We can't just run away, Rhaenyra you are still married to my brother, Nyra I can't give you the heirs that you need. I'm not a sick man who can just stick my prick and lay a babe everywhere." A harsh laugh left from her lips.

She slowly sat up in the bed pressing her temple to my own those eyes of her. They were such a fire that could send anyone running.

"I have three beautiful sons, and maybe yes I'll want more children but we can have Daemon for that can't we? If it was for me he wouldn't mind doing it, I love you and you love me.. Here isn't were we are needed and you know this. If you join me in my chambers tomorrow evening I can discuss this all we can have it all figured out one by one not all at once." I've never seen her more serious than in that moment. A sigh of disbelief left me before I stroked at her jawline a few times.

"Sleep it over then we can discuss taking over the world later." She grinned at me pressing a quick kiss to my lips.
