"John get up you piece of shit!" I get up and greet my mother, standing there. I get dressed and have breakfast, normal morning procedure. I go outside and take a nice, deep breath before walking to work.
I get there only to figure out i have been laid off. Me and my boss have a huge argument, before he kicks me out. As I walk home, I pass a homeless person with a sign that says, "The end is near, repent your sins." I brush it off, of course, and go to a park. I recollect myself there. There is something soothing about the park. The wind howling, the children laughing, the nice atmosphere, etc... I almost fall asleep.
But then, I heard it. It was horrible and I dread that day. The alarm, the awful sound of the alarm. I was panicked and didn't know what was going on. Then I heard someone yell, "get to the shelter!" There were screams, I even saw a child get dropped and stepped on at least 8 individual times by different people. It was horrible.
I ran towards the shelter. I didn't know what else to do so I ran to the shelter along with the huge crowd of people. Then, I saw it. It was huge, and cone shaped. It was building up speed, heading straight towards the center of the city. It was at this point that I went into full panic mode. I pushed people out of the way and even knocked some of them over. I got to the entrance of the shelter and did all I could to make sure I could get safe. "The gate is closing!" Someone yelled. Now there was even more panic among the crowd.
The gate was almost closed now. When it was very close two people tried to slip through, one made it. But the other was crushed and split In half. Most of the people covered there mouths and some of them vomited. We all pushed into one giant elevator and it started going down. "BOOM" when the bomb hit, it shook the whole shelter, making some dust fall from the roof.
