They told me that she would be fine. That's it. I had no knowledge of what had happened. But i did know. James tried to kill her. Tried to kill because she wanted to leave him to come to me. I tried to save her, but I couldn't. I failed the one I love. But if she is alive, and going to fine, I can still have her. The bastard can try all he wants to try and break us apart, but he never will. I've been sitting here in this hospital waiting room for the past 28 hours with no update on how my baby girl is. It's driving me insane!! I felt someone tap my shoulder then I looked up to see Carter's mom.
"You can see her now."
"What?" I said, still in a daze.
"The doctors are letting other people see her now." her mom told me.
"Just got see her and see how she is. She was asking for you."
"Really?" I asked. " I thought she would never want to see me again."
"Well you better not keep her waiting! You know how she is!" "Oh and Cody."
"Yes Mrs.Rose?"
"Thank you for protecting my little girl."
"Oh course."
I got up to give her mother a hug which she gladly appreciated.
"I'm gonna go see her now."
"Ok honey."
"Bye."
