"Ummmm...Who are you?"
Her words sent my whole world crashing down. The person I lived for didn't know who I was. I felt the tears threatening to spill out of my eyes. I ran out of the room before Carter saw me at my weakest point. I stormed out of the room to find her parents. I walked into the waiting room to find them.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HER!!" I demanded to know.
"What do you mean Cody?"
"SHE DOESN'T REMEMBER SHIT ABOUT US!" I screamed.
"Cody, you need to calm down!" her mom yelled.
"WHY SHOULD I FUCKING CALM DOWN!!!!" I yelled back.
"SHE HAS AMNESIA!!" her dad interrupted our arguing.
That's all it took to send me crashing over the edge. All the tears I had been holding in finally came out. I fell to the floor crying my eyes out. Everything we had ever had just left her mind. It was all gone. I started thinking about everything we had, which led me to cry even more. Just then, a scream rippled through the hallways of the hospital, and I didn't have to think twice about whose mouth it left.
