This is the first book of the 'Yours' book series which comprises four books, namely ‘Fortuitously Yours’, ‘Unconventionally Yours’, ‘Truly Yours’ and ‘Eternally Yours’.
Before you start reading, I would request you all to please keep in mind the following points:
This is an Indian story: The story is written in a completely Indian setup. As a result, it will have some typical Indian cultures and identities like joint family, family bonding, high emotional content, etc. If you don't like reading Indian stories, then this story is not for you.
This is my first novel: I would like to declare it beforehand that this is my first novel. And, I don't belong to a language background (specifically speaking, I am an engineering student), so there may be many parts in the story where you may find my writing inadequate. Please bear with me for it, but I will try my level best.
I wanted to highlight the condition and problems of a large section of Indian women : Though India has come a long way, and I am really proud of it, there are still stigmas left in our society, especially those related to women. Through this series, which is actually a tale of an upper-class family consisting of 3 women and no man, I would like to highlight how some incidents can change the life of an Indian woman completely, though it's none of her faults. I thought to bring up this issue of sexual abuse and domestic violence towards women because it is still one of the most relevant topics in our country, and is found equally in all the sections of society, whether rich or poor.
Hoping that you would like it, I now invite you to read my first novel, which will take you on an unforgettable journey of a hopeless and somewhat mysterious family, and will tell you how a single person changes their lives by giving them the much needed tonic of hope. Through this story, I expect myself to be able to inspire you to live life more optimistically, because every situation has a solution hidden in its own, we just need to take the right call at the right time.
