"Hooo Hooo Hooo!!"
Just then the thing jumped from its tower into the ball pit. I was frozen. something lifted me up from under my arms.
When I looked down I saw it was the animatronic version of the statue I saw in the first area
"Helloooo!!! new friend!!! You are sure you're up late!?! 'GASP', are we having a slumber party?? we're are all your friends???"
The robot said walking through The play area.
Then it put you down and continued to ramble on about what you and him can do together.
" we can finger paint, tell stories, and drink fizzy fazz until our heads ex-PLOAD, and stay up all night!!"
The tall animatronic said while dancing in front of me
"There is only one rule: keep the lights on.ON.on."
"Okay, sun dude, I won't mess with your lights!"
I said a little creeped out by his tone
"YAAYY!! I won't have to ban you from the daycare after all!!"
"Uhhh... Anyway my names y/n what's yours?"
"Oh! My names sunrise but the kids call me Sundrop after our delicious candies! But you can call me anything really as long as it is family friendly!"
"Ok got it, sunny!"
" 'GASP' I Love that name!! Your so creative!!"
"Oh, thanks!"
I wouldn't admit it but I was actually having a little bit of fun talking to the clumsy animatronic in front of me
"Sunshine, what do you want to do to pass the time?"
'Sunshine?'
I thought, but none the less answered to it.
"Ummm I don't know how about you chose?"
Another gasp sounded from him as he spoke.
"Wait, you mean it?!?!? I get to chose!?!?"
"Uhhh yeah!"
"Ohthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou thank you thank you!!!!"
He was talking so fast I could barely understand him.
He then picked me up in a tight hug but made sure I could breath and spun me around.
"What do you think about finger painting!!!??"
He said as he put me down.
"Umm I've never had anything against it, sounds like a plan!!"
Ngl his energy was rubbing of on me.
So for the next 55 minutes we finger painted and talked. I realized I should probably check my watch to see the time. It read 7:45. Sunrise was looking over my shoulder to see what I was doing and when he saw the time he freaked out!
" oh no oh no oh no!! This is not good! Sunshine, remember how I told you to keep the lights on??"
"Uhhhh yeah?"
" well the lights go off every 10 minutes of the last hour and go to convert the energy to our charging stations to make sure they don't run out!! Which means in about four(4) minutes the lights will turn off!"
" what's so bad about turning the lights off anyways?"
" there's no time to explain! We're gonna play one last game before the end of the hour. Hide and seek in the dark! You're gonna hide and when the clock hits 7:50 i'm gonna come look for you but anything is better than me finding you! so try your best to hide, ok?"
"Ok, game on!"
I ran to go hide and looked at my watch it's 7:47 PM which means I have about three minutes to hide as I ran through the daycare I remember the play structures and ran to one as I got my hiding spot the lights turned off 'oh boy' I thought. 'What have I gotten myself into'
" naughty child. Naughty child."
I looked out at where sunny was but instead I was something that looked like sunny but didn't at the same time.
" it's past your bedtime. You must be punished!"
"Nighty night!"
Then he descended into the air.
(HeLiCoPtEr HeLiCoPtEr)
'Holy crap he can fly!?!?!?' I thought to myself
Then I saw a... generator?...
wouldn't that be dangerous and also if you didn't want people turning off the lights why would there be generators in the play structure?
'you know what I'm not gonna question that'
I flipped the switch on the generator and ran to find the next by following the cords on the ground. Two... Three... Four with the fourth one I I realized I must be close to turn the lights on. Just then I spotted the fifth generator but something was telling me not to go to it so I followed my gut, I walked away and looked around to make sure the moon guy didn't see me. Then I climb back through the structures and waited pretty much staking out The fifth generator, and that's when I saw a certain someone jump down from above the generator. boy was I right to walk away.
" naughty children must be punished!"
God I hated that voice. Why would they even make this a children's animatronic???
I took this as my cue and ran to the fifth generator I flipped it on. And all the lights came back on with it. Just than a really happy sunrise came skipping over to me and hugged me really tightly.
"Sunshine!! Did you get hurt??!?!? Do I need to take you to the infirmary??!?!?"
I chuckled lightly to my self
"No sunny I'm fine!! Thank you for being worried about me though!"
" 'GASP' Sunshine!! Great job!!! You managed to win the game!!"
"Yeah I guess I did!"
"I'm giving you my title of best player of hide and seek!!"
