Jonathan woke up to hearing a lot of talking in the kitchen. He heard will , Joyce and Hopper. He got up from his bed and got dressed then walked into the kitchen.
"What's going on?" Jonathan said as he was walking in the kitchen
"Will thinks the mind flayer is back" hopper said
"What!!????" Jonathan thought the mind flayer died years ago he was so confused
"I thought it died years ago!? We killed it 2 Years ago!" Jonathan had no clue on how the mind flayer could be back.
"Well when me and murray went to save hop we found a lot we found frozen demogorgons, demodogs and the mind flayer." Joyce said this knowing she should've said something to jonathan and will but she didn't
"Mom what!??? Why didn't you tell us!?" Jonathan said this in a kinda shouting tone he was confused but he wasn't angry he was just scared for will, El and nance
"have any of you seen the mind flayer? jonathan said worryingly
"no we haven't" will mumbled
"Wait isn't vecna in control of the mind flayer?" Jonathan was now worrying about everyone he didnt know what to do
"mhm" will replied
"Shit." Jonathan ran out of the house he got in the car as fast as he could and started speeding towards nancy's house
He finally arrived at nancy's house
He knocked on the door in a panic
Robin answered the door
"Robin!!?? what are you doing here!?"
"Nancy called me too translate something from the abandoned lab and she was just about to call you"
"Oh!"
Jonathan walked in nancy's house and went down to the basement. Robin followed Jonathan down into the basement.
"Nance why is there papers everywhere" Jonathan was still panicked now he is even more confused on what's going on
"Well I was walking through the forest and I saw that the lab was opened so I went in" ( as any normal person would )
"And I found this file but its in russian on the part where it says the name of whoevers file this is."
"And? why were you gonna call me?"
"Well.. I translated the file and it spelled out your brother's name.." Robin said
"What!??"
"Yeah" Nancy said she didn't know what was going through Jonathan's head in fact she couldn't imagine it."Jonathan we think your brother has powers just like el." Nancy saw the concerned look on his face
"Why do you think that!???"
"Because he's been the target of vecna for years. Vecna is the one who kidnapped him then Vecna is also why he was possessed by the mind flayer and he's the reason will is now connected to the hive mind and now why would vecna choose a "normal" bowl cut boy to be his spy? there has to be a reason and we found wills file at the lab where they kept superpowered kids." robin went on a long ramble and she talked very fast but somehow everyone understood her.
"Wait your probably right" Jonathan said still panicked about the mind flayer but now hes even more scared for will
"Quick question byers" robin said
"hm?"
"Why did you look like you witnessed a murder when you came knocking on the door"
"The mind flayer is back."
"What!?" Nancy thought they killed that thing
Robin just stood there she was kind of in shock she had no idea what to say or do how would they find who's possessed is it one of them? Or how would they kill it again. How long has it been back for?
