The Carnival

That morning, I woke up to the extreme cold air hitting my face, but it was so warm right beside Buzz. He had wrapped his arms around me and my face was tucked into his chest with my big heavy bed covers making it all warm and cozy.

"Hmm" He hummed. He wrapped his arms tighter around me. "Good morning." He smiled, looking down at me.

I looked back up at him with big, hopeful eyes. "Buzz I have a big plan for us tonight so get ready :)" He ruffled my hair sending me into a big, giggling mess.

"Unfortunately, my sister has to come with us. She didn't say why but I fought with her about it and she wouldn't budge. Sorry."

"Hey, don't worry about it. I have a perfect idea.." He took my hair in his hand and tucked it behind my ear.

"Sooo what's the plan for tonight?" Buzz asked, wrapping his hands around my waist while I made coffee.

"That's a secret. But I wanna hear your 'perfect' idea."

"Not unless you tell me your little plan first." He smirked.

"Not a chance. Guess we'll have to wait for tonight. Where something casual." I winked and spun around, prancing back to my bedroom.

Now that Buzz could pass as a human, me and my sister dressed him up in clothes we bought at a men's department store and got him a brown wig to cover up his purple head. He looked like he could be on the red carpet.

Later that night, 6pm

The sun was about to set and it was almost time to take Buzz out. I wore my hair in a *favorite style* and was wearing *cute outfit.* Tonight, I'm taking Buzz to the annual spring's fun fiesta, a carnival our town holds every year to get the community together. The carnival has every typical stupidly cute game you can imagine, but the reason I'm taking Buzz is because I wanna kiss him on the top of the ferris wheel. Typical, I know. But this will be his and I's first real date.

"Buzz!! Come on! We gotta go!" My sister shouted from the driver's seat of the car. She was wearing big mom jeans and a big cropped T shirt like she was in a 90s music video.

"Guys, I want you to meet someone." Me and my sister got out of the car and approached Buzz and who I assumed was his friend. His friend was tall with short brown hair. He was dressed like an old cowboy with the classic jeans, boots, flannel, cow print vest, and to top it off, a cowboy hat.

"Guys, this is Woody, and my surprise guest. We've been friends for forever and we come from the same manufacturers." Woody came closer to us and shook both of our hands, he stared at my sister up and down for a bit too long.

"Wait, you're a doll too?" She questioned. She was looking right into his eyes while he stared back and smiled. He was a bit taken aback by the question and hesitated with his response. He chuckled and said "Yeah, I am."

"Come on guys, let's get going!" I said and we all hopped in the car. My sister started blasting 2000s music and all of us were singing extremely loud and dancing, shaking the car.

"WAIT!!" Buzz shouted over the music, "Where are we going?" We didn't respond because the view gave him his answer. We came closer and closer to the colorful neon lights of the carnival. There was a big crowd of people everywhere and we could hear laughing, talking, and screaming from the car. The ferris wheel was eye-catching, it was huge and illuminated by humungous purple lights.

10 minutes later

"So where do you wanna go first?" I excitedly asked Buzz. We had all just bought tickets and decided to split up to give me and Buzz some alone time. Not a very good sister thing for me to do to leave her with Woody, almost a complete stranger, but maybe they'll have a good time.
