Chapter 4

Alastor pov.

I walked forward to get near her but she growled at me so I stopped. I'm not gonna lie but I find this entertaining but I don't want it to attack so I have to be careful. "Say my dear why don't you transform into your demon form and let's talk like normal demons."

She looked at me for a second and shook her head no im guessing she doesn't want to which kinda ticked me off because I would love to meet them and how they look like so I can hunt them down later for pouncing on me. As I thought about that my grin went wider. "May I know why at least you don't want to transform in your demon form?" She tried to talk but it just came as dragon roars. Hmm I thought this might be difficult than I thought.

It started walking away which I followed interested in knowing where she was going, she noticed me following cause she would side eye me from time to time.

Y/n pov

He asked me to change into my demon form, but I shook my head no and then he asked my why. I tried telling him because I don't like showing people my demon form, but I noticed he didn't understand me cause he heard me throw dragon noise. And his face kinda showed he didn't understand what I was saying. For some reason he looked like he was in his thoughts because his grin went wider which kinda creeped me out.

My ears perked up of a sound and I could sense the smell of a deer nearby. I started walking quietly to the noise, Alastor noticed me leave so he followed behind. I would look back at him from time to time to make sure he doesn't do anything. Once I smelled the deer I knew it was in front of the bush, so I stopped walking, but Alastor was gonna give our hiding spot away. And I didn't want to chase the deer because I don't have energy since I still haven't had anything to eat. I used my tail to stop him, as my tail pulled him back and I looked at him giving him a stare.

He noticed that I was trying to say there something in front of the bush so he stayed. I looked up the bush and there it was, a buck that was eating grass. Alastor saw and it looked like he was drooling... yea that's gross but reasonable, im guessing he hasn't ate too. My tail grabbed a stick and I threw it the other side where it can come closer. Now the buck was close I waited for it to eat the grass so I can pounce on it. Alastor was gonna go and tried to grab but my tail wrapped around him and pulled him back.

He made a record screech, which was weird but I didn't care. Now the buck was distracted I was getting ready. 3...2..1, I used my wings to levitate quickly and pounced on the deer. It quickly tries to kick me but I use my four legs and grab onto it. I use my sharp claws to stab it, and then I open my mouth to bite down on it, killing it.

I let go of it and start ripping shreds of it to eat some pieces. Alastor comes to me but stops and has a face of amazement like he's never seen anything like that. He then speaks up, "Dear that was very entertaining, I've never seen anything like that! Though....ahem..do you mind if I eat with you I haven't had lunch and usually I'll hunt a deer, but it looks like you already did." He looked away from shyness.

I looked at him for a few seconds and thought about it. I don't really like this guy much, but I did pounce on him so maybe I can owe it up to him? I sighed and nudge the dead deer closer to him as a way of inviting him to eat. He notice this and his smiled went smaller like it softened. He turned into his deer form, which he probably does to not get his suit dirty. We started eating until he asked me a question.

"Dear May I ask how did you kill this buck l don't see that you have teeth, so how did you kill it?" I stoped eating and looked at him, I open my mouth and he looks confused as to why I'm opening my mouth. Then I retract my teeth which shows and this caught him by surprise. And since I took my teeth out I grabbed a piece of the deer meat.

"So your a cannibal?" I asked while eating. He looked at me and finished chewing swallowing his food. He smirked at me, "why yes I am dear I've been ever since in the living world!" He exclaimed. I hummed, and ate one more piece. Interesting I thought, I cleaned my self since I had blood on my claws, Alastor saw that I was done so he stopped eating too and turned back to his demon form.

"Well dear thank you for this fine lunch, but I must be going, but can we meet again sometime?" I looked at him and thought about it, I saw a dirt patch so I used my claws and wrote 'maybe if we run into each other again.' He looked at me and nodded.

I took this as my cue to leave so I spread my big dark wings and flew away quickly.
