Chapter 10

Once it was morning, I slowly opened my eyes as I was staring at my room ceiling. I had a good 5 minute stare as I sat up and let out a low groan. I stretch my arms and back as I heard a few cracks which felt really nice, I let out a yawn but the yawn had a little squeak at the ends which caught me off guard. I get up from bed and head to the bathroom, and the first thing I saw was myself I still always get that weird feeling on how I still look like this. I noticed that my hair looks a bit messy so I look in the drawer of the bathroom and found a hairbrush.

I start untangling my hair as I manage to brush out the knots. I look at the shower and decided why not have a nice shower. "I could use a nice warm shower." I told myself as I started taking off my clothes and turning on the water warm as I got in.  The warm water falls down on my body as I let out a sigh, feeling calm as the water hit my back. After I finished with my warm shower I started wearing the new clothes I bought, 'hm I wonder what I should wear' I think. I then settled with black cargo pants and a nice red button shirt.

"Ok, now what.... I should explore a bit more of the city." I pick up my bag of clothes I bought, and head out of the room I checked out, once I left the motel I notice it's a bit quiet and random demons just sleeping on the sidewalk. "Yeaaa this is going to be interesting." I start walking around as I notice different stores and restaurants, I was a bit hungry so I went into a small store and bought a doughnut with a small coffee. I was about to cross the other side of the corner till I froze. I quickly turn invisible , so he wouldn't see me. 'Wait why am i overreacting he doesn't even know what I look like, but still...'

I saw Alastor walking with a hat on his hand, as he throws it back to group of ladies, demoness? Whatever they are, they were eating some corpse which looked a few days dead which kinda grossed me out a bit. I heard Alastor say something about saying a hi to Rosie. I notice how the group of ladies were fawning over him? "Guess he has the charm." I tell myself as I cringe at the group of ladies fawning over Alastor.

I decide to follow him, seeing that he could lead me to the hotel he was talking about in the forest. I stayed a few feet away from him to not be a bit suspicious even though I'm invisible, but you know he could have good hearing or good senses. It's been what like 30 minutes and all he has done is walk around the city! God I was getting impatient, I notice how he went into a butcher shop, which I sneakily slid through the door before it closes. "Good day sir!, I caught sight of your sign out front, and I make it my business to try out every new meat shop that appears! You never know which one will end up being my favorite!"

He says as a few laughter comes from his staff as I curiously tilt my head a bit. The butcher looked nervous and scared of him as he walks up to the counter, I stay a bit behind as I look over at the meat the store had displayed, my mouth watered a bit at seeing the meat, especially venison. I was then snapped out of my trance as I heard a slam on the counter and saw Alastor towering over the pig demon as I noticed his eyes were black and his pupils were radio dial as his antlers were branched out. 

"AND WE ALL LOVE TO RETURN TO SIMPLER TIMES, DO WE NOT?" His voice was dark and radio like, as I watch him in a bit shock and suprised as I see the butcher was looking at him in fear as he quickly nods and runs off to chop venison. I scoff as I quickly froze as Alastor turns his head, I stayed still and quiet as a shadow as he kept his gaze for a few seconds as he turned his head back.

'Phew that was close...'  I think as I notice the butler hand Alastor a bag of venison. "Thank you kindly, my good sir!" He says as he turns to leave, he opens the door and a sheep lady is a bit suprised but smiles as she thanks Alastor which he nods in return. I was going to follow Alastor out till we heard the sheep lady scream for help, I stop in my track as Alastor freezes. I move out the way as Alastor goes back in the store, while I get angry seeing the disgusting pig hands around the innocent lady neck.

I wanted to intervene and do something, but that would just blow my cover. Suddenly Alastor was turning into his demonic form as he grew taller, and his face was....well straight up creepy. "You know, I really hate those who can't show a little more respect to those of fairer means. It's rather distasteful...LIKE BAD MEAT."  He says as he was in his demonic form as the pig demon was now straight up scared and knew what was about to happen.

The poor sheep lady was covering herself as she was crying silent, while Alastor was shredding and ripping the guts out of the demon who was screaming in pain. I was still invisible and went to the sheep lady as I slowly rubbed her back, she went tense as she didn't know what was happening but she slowly calmed down. Once he was done Alastor hums as he had a bag that looked like the remainder of the pig demon, he takes a bite as the sheep lady was now done crying as she look up at the bloody scene.

Once he left, I made myself visible as the sheep lady lets out a squeak. "Oh I'm sorry didn't mean to spook you mam." I say in a calm tone as she backs up a bit. "W-who are you? We're you here this whole time? She asks nervously as I nod, "yes I saw everything, I was the one rubbing your back to calm you down, are you ok? I ask, as she nervously smiles a bit and nods. "Y-yes I'm fine, just a bit shook... but now I don't have any food." I smile as I chuckle a bit and summon a bag of meat with my powers.

"Here you go, I don't know if it's what you want, but it's the least I can do." I hand her the meat bag as she looks at me suprised, as she takes it. "T-thank you mam, thats really nice of you." I smile as I lead her out the store holding the door for her, "Anytime mam, I felt bad for what happen, just be careful around this city. Hell isn't a nice place." She walks out as she nods, "Will do, I'll make sure I'm careful. Thank you uh.."

"Ash, call me Ash miss." She smiles as she chuckles, "okay ash you can call me, Lina." I nod as i smile a bit, "okay Lina, take care!" I start walking away as she tells me the same, okay now I need to find Alastor. I notice the trail of blood from the blood that must've been leaking out of the bag as I sigh. 'He doesn't even know the blood trail he's leaving oh well.' I turn into a shadow as I slither in the dark alleyways until the blood trail stops, I turn to a solid form as I look around. I pick up the smell of the blood close by and follow the smell. I found Alastor walking up to a tall building as I look at the building.

"Guess I found the place, Huh Hazbin hotel." Interesting I thought, I see Alastor enter the building as I sigh. Looks like it's time I should introduce myself.
