The day was gloomy and wet. The night before it had rained all night. The muddy ground splashed as a shoe walked in it. The shoe belonged to no other than Eren. His spiky dark red hair covered a little of his face. He wore a black suit with a green tie. His dark brown eyes looked around at the woods. The walkway he was walking on was covered in leaves, dead branches, and mud. 'The sun seems to be gone today. Wonder if it has anything to do with it being the first day of Magic School.' He thought to himself as he was walking up to a large gate. He stopped and studies it. The gate was covered in angels and devils. It was golden with what looked to be dried blood. 'Weird..' He said as he touched the blood. 'Seems like it's new.' Though his thoughts were interrupted when he gets pushed a little by a group of boys.
"Watch where you are going, human.' One says cockily. He chuckles with his friends as they all walk through the gate. They wore the same outfit as Eren.
'Vampires.' He said to himself. He looked at the group. For sure they all were vampires. All their teeth somewhat showing when talking. He groans. 'Already on a great start.' He starts walking behind them.
A large castle stood on a cliff. It looked as if it was only an inch away from falling. Nothing but darkness under it.
Eren made his way into the courtyard. He looked up at the castle. 'Last time I was here it looked cool...now...' a piece of the castle wall cracks. 'It seems to only be falling apart.' He sees the group of vampire boys from earlier now sitting and talking to some vampire girls. They giggle at them. 'Figures there would be more.' He sits by the fence. Looking around he sees all the different groups of creatures.
The Humans, which Eren was part of, stood in a small group, since there weren't a lot of them, near the fountain. They all didn't care to interact with the others. Only amongst themselves.
The Vampires, the ones that run the school. Since the current king is a vampire it only feels right that they think they have more power over everyone else. They also hate Werewolves. Can't stand the sight or smell of them. They mostly hate their blood. When one drinks from one by accident they get sick. Since it doesn't sit right in their stomach.
The Werewolves weren't there. Since most were being killed off the families all went into hiding.
The Sirens stayed next to the other side of the fountain. They all had somewhat of scales that showed only when light hits them in certain areas. They also didn't talk much. Since they also thought they were in high power.
The Demons were a few. Only certain ones went here. Since their families are rich and don't care for the top level they mostly stay below but only the ones that really want to see the top world and have lots of money come here. They don't talk to anyone since they feel as though everyone here is nothing but small-minded creatures. And where their world is full of different ones.
The bell rings and the front door opens to the castle. Everyone starts heading in.
Eren stands. When he does a human walks up to them.
"Hi." A girl says as she smiles big at him. "I just wanted to let you know that we are always here if you need us. Since we are the same we can have each other's back and we can also keep you safe from the other things." She continues to smile at him.
"Um...thanks." He says as he walks past her. 'I don't need your pity. I can handle this year on my own. As soon as I find out how to awaken my powers I will be gone. So no need to make friends.'

After school Eren walks down the muddy path. He sighs. Putting his arms behind his head. 'Luckily my house isn't that far from the school but damn it sucks having to walk back and forth. Maybe I sure have sighed up for the in living.' He shakes his head. 'No. Remember I would have to share with someone else. And no way am I sharing a room with some rando.' He stops and continues down a somewhat hidden path that was covered with fallen trees. Though as he was walking he hears crying. His whole body freezes. 'Who was out here?' He quickly looks around. 'My house isn't far and I don't like this being this close to my home.' He then spots something out in the woods. Walking closer he sees a dog chained to a tree. 'Dang.' He slowly walks up to it. "You okay little buddy?" He asks as he sees the dog bleeding from the chain wrapped around its neck. The dog whines and shows him its neck. Its light brown hair was stained with its blood.
"I got this little fella." Eren bends down and gently unchains the dog. "There you go." He smiles down at it.
"Thank you! Finally, someone pities me to let me go." The dog says as it shakes.
Eren stares down at it. "What?-" He then falls back. Fainting. When coming to he sits up slowly. Holding the back of his head. 'My head is killing me. Why did I have to faint.' He looks around to see if he sees the dog and to his surprise, he doesn't see it. He lets out a sigh of relief. Standing he turns but jumps when he sees the talking dog.
"Hey, buddy." The dog stares up at him. "Sorry to make you faint. I thought you knew." He wags his tail.
Eren just stares at him in confusion.
"Oh sorry." The dog laughs. "Names James. James Adams. I'm a werewolf. Though the vampires thought it would be fun to turn me into an actual dog and chain me to the tree I thought I was done for. But no! I got you! My new best friend!" He jumps in excitement.
Eren shakes his head and rubs his forehead. "Look, whatever you think I'm not your bestie. I just helped you and now I'm going home." He walks past him.
"I know that but I need you." James walks beside him. "I can't go back to school like this. If I do they will only pick on me more. Since my species is going extinct I can't let them win."
Eren nods. "Yeah, I heard about that." He sighs. "Fine. You can stay with me and I'll help you but as soon as you go back to normal you go back to your life and never speak to me again. Okay?"
"YES!" James jumps in excitement. "You are not going to regret this."

When walking up to a rundown cabin that sat all alone, Eren turns to James.
"Look, this is my home. So don't tear it apart. Or I promise I will give you over to the vamps myself. Understand?" Eren glares at him.
James nods. "No need to threaten me. Just cause I'm a dog now doesn't mean I will act like one. I mean come on. I know how to act."
"Good." Eren walks through the door with James. "This is my home. You can sleep on the couch. It's comfy for you and there is some food in the fridge. Hot water is hard to come by. So I mostly have cold showers." He throws his backpack on the floor.
The cabin had spiderwebs in the corners and the "comfy couch" looks like it had lots of rips in it. It was also being held up by bricks. The walls had patches in them. Covering up holes to the outside. The floor looked the best but it also had some holes in it. An old fireplace sat near the couch.
James looked around sadly. "You live here? All alone?"
"Yeah." Eren took a soda out of the fridge. "It's nice and quiet here. No one around for miles. The closest is the school." He walks towards a small hallway. "I'm going to take a shower. If you need anything just don't bother me okay?" With an answer, he shuts his bedroom door.
*Next Scene*
Eren stands in the shower. Water ran down his back. Burns ran all over his back. His tears fell off his face while he leaned on the wall. 'Why can't I remember anything about them?' He falls slowly down to the ground. Curling into a ball. 'I wish I could remember their faces...their smells...their voices...' He closes his eyes as more tears roll down his cheeks. 'My parents saved me...and yet I don't remember them...why?' He touches his necklace. 'The only thing left of them is this...why did you give it to me?' He looks down at it. 'What's so special about you?' Suddenly, as if someone was listening, Eren's eyes go white. A flash of memory comes to him. His parents smiled down at him. Though their faces were not seen their voice was heard. "I just want her to have a normal life." His mother said to his father. "I know. But in this world, she can't be." He picks him up. "I promise to give you the world. That no matter where you are you will always feel us with you." His mother kisses a necklace that she was wearing. It was the same one Eren wore. "With this necklace, you will always have the power of us. One day you will show this world how powerful we Werewolves can be" And with that, the memory fades. Eren comes to. He breathes heavily. 'Was...was that them?' Tears run down his face. 'Mom...dad...' He smiles. 'I'm a werewolf?' He wipes his eyes. 'Thank you...'
