The truth.

Hopes Pov

"All students please head back to your dorms; I repeat all students to please head back to your dorms. There appears to be an earthquake occurring. At this time all classes will be canceled until tomorrow."

I start to pack up my stuff and head back to my dorm, but before I can even get a few steps out the class Dr Saltzman comes back on the intercom, ''Hope Mikealson please come to the office.''

Never fails. Do i ever get a break? Nope not me. I walk down to his office. I wonder what's happening this time. I open the door and see Dr Saltzman rummaging around his bookshelf.

"What are you doing?" I ask, staring him down.

"We have a problem." He says to me.

I cross my arms and raise my eyebrows. he sits down at his desk and motions for me to come over and look at his computer. I do as I'm told, and the first thing I see is an news article headline.

Four dead from mysterious circumstances. Police investigation is underway. Cult activity?

"I don't think this was cult activity. I think this was supernatural. So, I've decided that me, you and Leah are going to go investigate."

"Fine. I'll go get her." I leave his office and walk up to our dorm. Before o enter i give a few courtesy knocks. "Lee, you in there? I'm going to come in, okay?"

I open the door to her dorm and a a gasp leaves my throat as I see the blonde haired witch on the floor.

"Leah!" I run over to cradle her head. I place my fingers on her throat to feel for a pulse. It's slow but still there. I look around the room to see books on the floor and light bulbs cracked.

"No no no no!" I cry as tears run down my face. "Please don't leave me too!"

I start chest compressions on her. "Come on Lee wake up!" I lean down to her face to breathe air into her lungs.

She wakes up with a gasp. I immediately jump onto her lap to wrap my arms around her neck.

"I thought I lost you!" I sob into her shoulder. I feel her arms wrap around my waist, hugging me back.

I lean back to look at her face. I take my hands and bring them up to her face. "What happened?"

"I don't know I think I lost control of my powers. I felt like I was going to bust. The room started spinning and then all I remember is waking up here."

I lean in and bring my lips to hers. "You scared me Leah. I thought I lost you."

"Don't worry I don't plan on leaving you anytime soon. I'm okay I promise." Leah tells me. Her hands reach up and wipe the tears from my face. I pull away from her and stand up. I reach my hand down to help her up.

Wiping the leftover tears from my face I tell her what Alaric wants us to do. She straights out her dress. "Okay let's go."

"Are you sure your alright?" I ask her. "We don't have to go if you don't  feel up to it."

"I told you I'm fine. I actually feel better." She says in a monotone voice.

"Uh, okay let's go I guess." She walked beside me and we both head to doctor Saltzman office

Leah's pov (while she was passed out)

"Welcome back friend." The thing with the zippered like mouth says.
