Apologizing

Facetime

Penelope's POV

I go into instant panic after I accidentally pressed the FaceTime button. I hit end but my phone froze! If he picks up this will be so awkward.

Derek's POV

I roll over to my nightstand where my phone is and I see that Penelope is facetiming me, weird. I pick up hoping that she's still there. I see her ceiling and it's all silence. "Uh Baby Girl?" I say, she still doesn't say anything. "What?" I hear her say quietly. "Listen I'm sorry." "Don't be, you know how when I was with Sam? He cheated on me too. Everyone that I've dated never cheated on me but when it comes to you and Sam, 'Oh im sorry we're breaking up because i found someone better than you' Im sick of it! I can never find a man that loves me anymore!" she vented to me almost breaking out into tears.

"Im just done Derek, I can't find a man who will stay loyal to me in a relationship!" and that's when she starts to cry. "Penelope, Im sorry, I would apologize to you in person but I don't know if you wanna see me anymore." That's when my phone vibrates, it's a text from Hotch saying we have a case in California. "Hey I have to go solve a case, it's a bad one" I can still hear Penelope crying, "Im sorry" that's when I end the call.

Penelope's POV

I wipe the tears from my eyes as Derek ends the call, he has a case, but lucky for me I already took the week off. I crawl into my bed and go to sleep, I really miss Derek but I don't know if I can see him anymore because of what he did, maybe when this case is over I'll try and figure out myself.
