"this isn't the food bank" regan stared at the diner that was located in local beach

"i'm taking you out" namjoon remarked

"namjoon are you for sure, i have to volunteer-"

"don't worry" namjoon said as he got of the car, "you coming?"

"what if my mom finds out i lied to her and-"

"stop stressing and come" he opened the car door for her

regan soon got out of seat, she followed namjoon inside the building. the two sat a booth near the exit of the building

regan huffed, "my volunteering is suppose to end at four, so my mom expects me to come on time"

"don't worry, i'll make sure you reach home on time" a smiled was formed on the young males lips

a tint of pink was present on regan's cheeks, hearing how namjoon was caring, and how he would make sure she would come home on time

"could you properly explain why you brought me out?" she raised an eyebrow

namjoon lowered his eyes, "well because i wanted to talk to you properly and i knew that day if i got close to you, your mom would've screamed"

regan laughed, "trust me, when we got home she told me not to be around a guy like you"

"ouch" namjoon placed his hand on his heart, acting like he was hurt by her words

"so do you come to the to the beach often?" she eyed the tall man sitting in front of her

"not really" namjoon rubbed the back of his neck, "you?"

"actually we used to live in the downtown area" she took a sip of her water

regan turned towards the window admiring the ocean sea. namjoon soon notice how her attention was towards the waves instead of their conversation

"get up" he stood up, getting out the booth

"where are we going now?" she gave a confused look

"let's walk around, we're at the beach for fuck sake. there's a tone of shit to do" namjoon grabbed regan's arm and ran out of the diner together
