Chapter 2

(Kellis POV)

While we were walking, I noticed that Billy was limping.

I got worried and asked him "Hey, are you okay?"

He turned around and said "Uh, yeah, I'm fine.."

I rolled my eyes "But you're limping."

Billy: "Oh, that's nothing. I feel fine."

I stopped walking and putted my hand on his shoulder "I know you don't. Just tell me the truth, I can help you."

He rolled his eyes and said "Fine... m-my head & my body hurt.."

Me: "Why didn't you tell me?!"

Billy: "I'm sorry... look my house is a mile away, we could go there but you have to go home because I don't want your parents to worry."

Aww, he cares about me!

Me: "Thank you for caring, but I do have a phone so I'll just call my dad and tell him where I am.. I'm sure he's worried but I have to help you."

Billy: "No, you don't."

Me: "Yes, I do. You saved my life, I can at least help you get home."

Billy smiled a bit and said "Okay, thank you Kelli."

I smiled "You're welcome."

*in front of billys house*

Me: "Gonna call my dad."

Billy: "Okay."

I took my phone and called my dad:

Kelli: "Dad?"

Kellis dad (Mark): "Kelli?! Is it really you?!?!"

Kelli: "Yes dad."

Mark: "I've been so worried, where are you?"

Kelli: "I don't exactly know, but I will probably come home tomorrow."

Mark: "Tomorrow?! It's almost midnight, where are you going to sleep?"

Kelli: "It's a long story, I'll tell you when I get home."

Mark: "Did you met somebody?"

Kelli: "Yes."

Mark: "Can I talk to the person, I have to know if you will be alright."

Kelli: "Ok, just wait a second."

Kelli whispers to Billy "My dad wants to talk to you."

She gives Billy her phone.

Mark: "Hello?"

Billy: "Um, hello."

Mark: "Who are you?"

Billy: "I-i am Billy, Billy Unger.

Mark: "Is my daughter going to sleep in your house?"

Billy: "Yes. Me & my dad will take care of her."

Mark: "Hopefully. Oh and one more thing: can I trust you?"

Billy: "Of course, I won't let anything happen to Kelli."

Kelli smiled as she heard what Billy said.

Mark: "Good. Then I want you to walk my daughter home tomorrow. I don't want her to be alone."

Billy: "Don't worry Mr., when she's with me, I will protect her."

Kelli smiled even more.

Mark: "You seem like a really nice guy, so I'll believe you."

Billy: "Thank you."

Mark: "No, I thank you. Now, can I talk to Kelli?"

Billy: "Yes, of course."

Billy gives the phone back to Kelli.

Kelli: "Hey dad."

Mark: "Thank god you met a great guy."

Kelli: "I know, he saved my life."

She looked at Billy and smiled, he was already looking at her and smiled too.

Mark: "Wait, what do you mean?"

Kelli: "Well, like I told you before, it is a long story.."

Mark: "Ok. But tell me all about it when you're back home."

Kelli: "Ok dad."

Mark: "Oh and Kelli-"

Kelli: "Yeah?"

Mark: "Tell Billy I thank him again."

Kelli: "Sure."

Kelli ended the call.
