Love at first sight

Chapter 6

Kelli POV

"So.. about the kiss yesterday..", Billy continued.

He was walking me home right now, like dad told him.

"It's okay.", I said and smiled.

"I'm still sorry. I know we just met and it was wrong to kiss you but...", he stopped.

"But what?", I asked.

"I- I just- I don't know- I just felt like I had to. You know, when you see that one person and it feels like love at first sight.. I just couldn't stop myself.", he said.

Did he just say love at first sight?

I smiled and bit my lip, "I think I know how you feel. But you don't have to apologise, don't you remember that I kissed back?", I asked.

"So you liked it?", he smirked.

"To be honest, I did.", I smiled.

He smiled and after that it has been quite between us.

"Oh look, we're here.", I smiled and raised my arm at my houses direction.

We stopped in front of the door.

"Am I ever going to see you again?", Billy asked.

"Give me your phone.", I said.

He picked his phone out of his pocket and handed it to me.

I wrote my number in his contacts and handed it back to him.

I then handed him my phone and he wrote his number in my contacts and handed it back.

I knocked on the door and we waited for somebody to open it.

The door soon opened and my brother Spencer stood behind it.

"KELLI!", he yelled.

"SPENCER!", I yelled.

I jumped in his arms hugging him and he hugged back.

We weren't that type of brother and sister who hate each other, are always fighting and arguing, we actually love each other.

Spencer is always there for me to help me, he's the only one to make me laugh when I'm sad, he's the best big brother I could ever ask for.

"I missed you Kel, why did you have to run away? Oh and who's that?", he asked and pointed at Billy.

"Spence, this is Billy, dad probably told you about him.", I said.

"Oh yeah right! Well hi there.", Spencer smiled and waved at Billy.

"Hi.", Billy waved.

"Oh Billy, this is my big brother Spencer.", I said.

"Oh he's your brother, I thought he's your...never mind.", Billy said.

Me and Spencer shared a look.

"Well do you want to come in?", Spencer asked Billy.

"Uh sure.", Billy said.

Spencer stepped aside and we got in.

I saw my father and quickly ran to hug him.

"Kelli, you're back!", dad said.

"Where's that boy who saved your life? I want to thank him once again!", dad said.

"Billy's over there.", I smiled and pointed at Billy who was right behind me.

Billy waved and smiled at dad.

"So you are Billy. The young man who saved my daughters life.", dad said.

"Yep, that's me. And it was my pleasure.", Billy smiled.

"Thank you again for saving my daughter but I think you should go now.", dad said and opened the front door.

"Dad!", I shouted.

"No it's okay, I'll see you soon Kel.", Billy said and maked his way to the door.

"Bye.", I said and waved.

He got out and my overprotective father closed the door.

"What was that about?!", I asked almost yelling at dad and ran upstairs in my room.

I sat down on my bed and looked at the ground.

I don't know why I did that.

I guess I just wanted Billy to stay.

I heard the door open and someone came in.

I looked up to see Spencer.

He sat next to me and I looked back down.

I felt him rub my back.

"What's wrong Kel?", he quietly asked.

I looked up, "I don't know, I just didn't want Billy to leave. Dad is always too overprotective."

"Well you know him. But can you tell me why you ran away yesterday?", Spencer asked.

"I broke up with Sterling.", I said quitly.

"What? Why?", Spencer asked.

"We got in a fight, it was our first time. It was all his fault but I still shouldn't have had broken up with him. When I realised what I did I ran away to be alone for a bit. But then there was that noise I heard and I thought it was a person but it was a wolf. I started running and screaming but nobody was there to hear and help me. Just when I started to lose hope, Billy jumped out of nowhere and somehow killed the wolf.", I said as Spencer hugged me.

I laid my head on his shoulder.

"Don't be sad Kel, I didn't like Sterling anyway.", Spencer suddenly said.

"And you never told me?", I asked looking up at him.

"I knew how much you love him and didn't want to hurt you.", he said.

I smiled, "Thank you Spence."

I laid myself on the bed and my brother came next to me.

"Spence?", I asked.

"Yeah sis?", Spencer asked.

"Do you believe in love at first sight?", I asked.

"Of course, why?", he asked.

"Billy.", I said.

"Aaaaaaa you're in love.", Spencer teased sitting up.

I sat up too, "We even kissed twice last night.",

"You what?!", he asked.

"Shh, you don't want dad to hear right?", I whispered.

"Of course not he's going to kill you. Well he's going to kill Billy too. And if you tell him why you ran away he's going to kill Sterling too.", he said and shrugged.

"By the way, you only kissed right?", he asked.

"Of course!", I shouted.

"Okay okay calm down.", Spencer laughed.

"So you're really in love?", he asked.

"I don't know Spence, I guess I am. When I first saw him, it just felt like love at first sight.", I said.
