1956. A group of soviet soldiers get lost in the mountains of Transilvania, where they are ambushed and slaughtered by lycans. The only survivor is brought before Mother Miranda and the other houses to determine his fate. To the surprise of almost e...
Alex took one more look at himself in the mirror. He was so well turned out that he could have easily joined the Red Square parade. But he was far, far away from his home right now. And not just geographically.
He was surprised when Donna came in. Surprised, angry and disappointed. Yet he suppressed the urge to yell or simply be rude to her, even though he really wanted to or maybe even should. "Yes?"
Donna did not say anything at first and just stood by the door for a second. Then she closed the distance quickly and stuck a white flower to his uniform, just under his right shoulder. "This... is edelweiss. It grows high in the mountains and is allegedly the symbol of a true soldier. M-May it bring you luck."
Donna could not even imagine how much Alexander was angry at her. Perhaps his life wasn't in danger but it was still HER decision to make him entertainment for some entitled assholes. "Thanks." he said as neutral as possible.
"D-Don't die out there, yes? I-I like you." she stuttered. This question both confused and worried him.
"What do you mean, is something gonna happen?"
She fell silent again for a second. "Do you trust me?"
"...No. I do not." he answered honestly. "You haven't exactly given me any reason to trust you."
"Then... you will have to trust me NOW." she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
"What are you...." he wanted to ask but Mother Miranda herself opened the door to the changing room.
"It's time." she said in a commanding tone. Alex fixed his ammo belt and nodded, following her.
Just a few minutes later, Alexander found himself in a huge underground arena. Range- and Melee weapons were scattered all around, as were improvised barricades and spikes. The four lords were all present and would enjoy the 'performance' from a lodge above the arena. "I am both surprised and very, very happy that you agreed Donna." Heisenberg said to her while rubbing his hands. "I think this is gonna be a lot of fun. And if not, at least it will be a good case study for my current prototypes."
"Can you just start it already? I feel nauseating just listening to you." Alcina rolled her eyes while enjoying another puff of her cigarette.
„For once I agree with you, you big witch. Let's not waste anymore time. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!" he called out over the loudspeaker.
Gates opened up to in front of Alex as well as to the left and right. Strange humanoid creatures emerged that looked to him like they had come straight out of a steampunk horror novel.

But he could not allow himself to get distracted. He raised his AK and started to shoot them down and they dropped like flies. He remembered his training very well and he was a natural when it comes to this weapon. She was reliable and surprisingly accurate too. "1th wave down! Haha! And we are just getting started!" Heisenberg called out over the speaker.
