The arrival

It was a normal day at Hogwarts in 1990, Everyone was in the main hall doing what they usually do. Over at the Gryffindor table, James Potter, a tan boy with dark curly hair and a bright smile, sighed dreamily as he watched the head girl A.K.A his crush since first year walk by him to her friends.

A thought came to the boy's mind as he snapped his head to his friends catching the boy's attention. "Pads I  haven't told Lily-flower that I love her today!! She might think I've fallen out of love!!"

Pads- also known as Sirius Black barked out a laugh to which a dark-skinned boy with glasses  - also known as Remus Lupin- rolled his eyes setting his book down. "James you've told her that you love her during breakfast, potions, herbology, and during DADA. I think she knows.."

"Yes, I'm pretty sure your precious Lily-flower is well aware" A blonde also known as Marlene Laughs as she walks by the group of boys. "Who knows maybe you'll actually get the girl this year?"

Over at the Slytherin table, A boy known as Regulus black was lost in thought and he enviously glanced at the Gryffindor table. Over at that table was his elder brother, free of any sort of obligations from their family ever since he decided to run away to the Potters.

Then there was James Potter himself. Regulus's brother stealing, sunshine, ex-boyfriend. The two had broken up just a few weeks ago and though he was hurting Regulus had only himself to blame. The younger boy knew that soon he would be taking the Dark Mark and there was no way around it and he would rather James hate him than let James be broken so Regulus did just that. Regulus spat out as many hurtful words as he could think of and watched as the only boy's eyes hardened in disgust making it turn from a one-sided argument to a screaming match between two hurting souls.

And now as he watches as the only man, Regulus believes he will ever truly love goes back to his 'I love Lily Evans' facade and watches as his older brother Sirius laughs alongside with him, he doesn't regret a single choice he made leading up to this point. Though he regrets the words that he might've said and his actions, he doesn't regret the motives for doing so.

Regulus Black will sacrifice himself for their happiness. Even if they might not do the same.

Before he could even finish that thought  Suddenly, the doors of the great hall burst open, and there stood, the Potters, Weasleys, Blacks, Lestranges, Tonks, Amelia Bones, and Alastor Moody, confusion written on their faces.

"What is the meaning of this?" Dumbledore asked.

"Dumbledore, we were given this note and asked to come here on an emergency." Euphemia Potter says handing the headmaster a note.

Meanwhile, Sirius rolled his eyes, his good mood instantly dropping."Great a Family Reunion...how fun"

Bellatrix Sneered at her cousin and began to draw her wand until a cracking sound filled the great hall followed by people's voices.
