Chapter 16

Mrs. Han's death had no effect on Jisung. He is not sad and mourning. For him, his mom is there or not, there is no difference. After the funeral, Jisung invites Hyunjin and Yeji to go to his parent's house which has become his. Every month, Mrs.Hwang will make sure someone comes to clean that house.

"Yeji, are you okay?"Jisung held Yeji's cheek, which looked pale.

"I don't know,"Yeji admitted, and lay down on the couch. It wasn't clear to her why his body felt weak. She just wants to sleep. At that time, they were in the living room at Jisung's house.

"You can rest in the guest room, though."

"It's fine, Sungie,"replied Yeji with a a sickly smile. Her eyes are closed. Jisung just hummed before turning to Hyunjin who hugged him from behind.

"What happened to her?"Hyunjin whispered.

"Tired, maybe?"

"Maybe. Oh yes, come with me." Hyunjin pulled Jisung and they went upstairs.

Hyunjin pushed the door open and entered Jisung's room. Jisung smiled when he saw the canvas brought by Hyunjin hanging on the wall. The canvas is a picture of Jisung and his fiancé when they were on vacation in Jeju.

"Thanks, hyungie."Jisung kissed Hyunjin's cheeks. He asked Hyunjin to paint their picture.

"It's nothing, baby. Do you want to eat something? Or can we eat outside?"

"With Yeji's condition, we better stay at home for a while. Just order her favorite meal."

"How about you?"Hyunjin took out his phone to make an order.

"I want pizza. Pineapple on top!"

"Seriously?"Hyunjin gave Jisung a disgusting expression.

"If you don't like, it's okay and don't eat it. But never give that kind of expression. Respect to the person who's like it,"replied Jisung, seriousness.

Hyunjin who understood that tone, hugging his fiancé.

"My bad, sorry."Hyunjin kissed Jisung's mole. Jisung smiled before both of them chose meals for Yeji.

Jisung and Hyunjin stared at each other when they saw Yeji feeding pizza into his mouth with satisfying looks. Jisung glanced at his pizza box, empty! He just ate one slice only!

“Since when did you like this flavor?”asked Hyunjin who seemed to understand his fiancé's reaction. 

Hyunjin and Yeji were opposed to pineapple on the pizza, but their parents liked it.

"Since today?"replied Yeji, easily.

"Weird. Baby, do you want me to order it again?"Hyunjin turned to Jisung. His fiance nodded.

"Me too!"

"Are you serious?"Hyunjin can't believe that Yeji is still not full.

Yeji nodded.

L"Just order it, hyung."

"Please order kimchi fried rice and fried chicken for Jaehyun,"added Yeji after reading her boyfriend's texts.

"He's coming?"asked Jisung and reached for the TV remote. Yeji hummed. They chat while watching the drama. Less than 15 minutes later, Jaehyun arrived. He also brought snacks and jellies.

Yeji was excited when she got her favorite jelly, but she didn't have time to put the jelly in her mouth. She felt nauseous. Without waiting long, she ran to the bathroom. Jaehyun looked at the jelly in his hand before he glanced at Hyunjin and Jisung's faces.

"What just happened?"asked Jaehyun. 

Hyunjin shrugged. Jisung remembered Yeji's strange behavior before his eyes widened.

"She's pregnant!"
