Y/N's POV
"Wtf." You said as you lifted your head off of Ariana. You checked Ariana's phone for the time.
8:30pm
Huh.. you both fell asleep for 30 minutes. You had gone through a lot of emotions in that kiss that wore you out. Seems like Ariana had that same predicament happen, too.
Speaking of Ariana, the small girl was sleeping ever so slightly in the driver seat of her car. Luckily, the car wasn't on. You had never fallen asleep in a car before.
"Ah fuck, my neck" You groaned quietly. Your neck was stiff. It pained you every time you moved it to the right.
"Hm, what's wrong?" Ariana said as she slowly started to wake up. Her face scrunched up, and she let out a groan. She seems like she's in pain, too.
"Nothing, my neck just hurts from falling asleep on you. I don't even know how we managed to be honest." You chuckled.
"Heh, yeah, me too. A lot happened all at once and just drained me completely. I needed that nap, though it hurts now. She giggled softly.
You took a moment to look at her, regardless of what had just happened, especially an hour earlier. It.. just felt good to look at the small girl in the driver's seat next to you.
It felt normal again, and your heart couldn't help but just be whole again.
"Y/n?" Ariana asked
"Yeah, what's up?" You snap out of your thoughts.
"I'm sorry for how I reacted to your secret. And before you tell me that it's okay, it's not okay. It was wrong for me to just freeze up. I could've handled that a lot better than I did." She said as she grabbed ahold of my hand.
"I promise that it didn't make me think of you differently. I don't even know why I froze up like that. The way you reacted to my reaction made me feel 1000x worse. Not talking to you was torture, and I'm so sorry if you don't want to continue this or if you don't trust to tell me anything else in the fut - "
You cut her off by placing your lips onto hers. She was surprised, but she seemed to melt into the kiss.
"It's okay, I forgive you. I should've been more understanding. It's a lot to process. I like you so much, Ariana, and I thought I had lost you and made you think I was a freak." You replied
She went to the object, but you placed a finger on her mouth. "I know that's not what you were thinking. It's what I felt, but I know the truth now. I'm sorry for ghosting you and not giving you a chance to explain yourself. I'm totally okay with moving forward with you."
"I also apologize for what you saw in there. I don't know what came over me with Camila. She had just gotten there and was immediately attached to me, and I should've resisted. But I had someone else thinking for me." You gesture down to your pants, and Ariana lets out a giggle.
"It's okay, moonlight, it happens. Plus, we aren't exclusive, so it's not like you weren't allowed to do it. I was just hurt seeing you with her. But the second you kissed me, I knew it was stupid to think I lost you to her." She gave a small smile. Her eyes twinkled in the moonlight.
