Y/N's Point of view
I arrived at school about five or so minutes later. I sit in my car, dreading the start of the school day. I don't know where anything is, who anyone is, or how long each class is. I guess.. you know I could just guess by the bells, but still.
I sigh one last time as I get out of my car. Locking it, I sip on my smoothie from Starbucks. Wasn't the best quality, but we don't necessarily have food at the house right now. I wasn't a huge coffee person, I enjoyed it but it wasn't a first pick when ordering something.
I open the school doors and immediately gets swept with smells of perfume, cologne, musk, and all sorts of different scents. I look around for the office, but it's nearly impossible due to the fact there's so many kids roaming around. I must've clearly looked lost because I feel a tap on my shoulder.
"Hi, do you need help finding something?" A raspy voice says. I turn around only to be greeted with green eyes and pale skin.
"Uh.. yeah, I'm new here and I need help finding the office."
"Well it's obvious you're new here, I haven't seen someone this fine ever in this school." She says while slightly biting her lip.
I blush, without given time to respond she grabs my arm and pulls me.
"The office is over here," she points me to a room to the right of the doors. "You'll find all that you need in there, however I can wait outside the office and once you get your schedule I can help show you where your classes are."
"Uh, yeah sure that'd be really helpful." I scratch the back my neck, as I enter the office.
I come back minutes later with a schedule, seeing that the girl really sat there and waited.
"Alright, let me see this." I hand her my schedule and she scans it.
"You have 3 classes with me, the other 2 I'll have to show you later. Also, by luck, you have lunch with me too." She smirks and we begin to walk to our first class together. "Oh, by the way my name is Lauren." She lends out her hand to shake. "Y/N" I shyly let out while I shake her hand.
She flashes a smile, one that I couldn't put a certain emotion on, but it sure made me blush. We make it to our class, having a few minutes before the bell rings. I talk with the teacher and get assigned a seat. The teacher points at the back of the room. "You'll be sitting behind Camila over there, Camila raise your hand please." I look to the girl, recognizing her almost immediately, she does too. A big smile appears on her face as she lifts her hand up. "Alright, Y/N here is a list of the supplies you'll need for this class. Mostly just a pencil and paper, as this is English. I am Mr. Brown and come to me if you need any questions answered about anything." He half smiles and turns his attention to the class. "Good morning class, we have a new student. Her name is Y/N. Please make her feel welcomed." I feel my cheeks burning as everyone's attention turns to me. I wave and go walk towards my desk. As soon as I sit down, Camila turns around.
"Hey hot stuff, I didn't know if I'd ever see you again. At least you didn't bump into me this time." She chuckles, moving a strand of hair behind her ear.
I scratch the back of my neck, "Yeah.. and I was gonna ask for your number that day."
"Oh, really?" She slightly licked her lips, "why didn't you?"
A light blush ran across my cheeks, "uh-m I just ya know forgot." I lie, not telling her that it was because I chickened out.
"Hmm, well here." She turns around and scribbles something down. Turning back around and slipping it in my hand, letting her hands linger for a little bit longer.
"Thanks." I smile, feeling a deeper blush appear.
"You know, you're really cute when you smile." She mutters, almost low enough to where I can't hear it.
"Oh really, you're one to talk." I wink, and smile wider seeing it's her that is blushing now. Camila looked like she was gonna say something, but the teacher cleared his throat and began to teach the class.
"Hm, maybe sitting in the back isn't a bad thing.. I get to enjoy a view." I think to myself as I see Camila stand up to help pass out papers. She first, made sure to take time lifting up her pants, making little jumping actions. I seen the smirk on her face as she walked away. But there was a situation, someone else got excited..
