You are sitting in class not being able to focus after what you just saw and heard. You couldn't believe that you were being fought over. It made no sense. The classroom door then opens and you see Zack coming in with an angry face. "Zachary. Got an excuse?" The teacher asked him. "Yeah" he rolls his eyes and gives it to her. He walks over to his seat and sees you but you shift your eyes elsewhere.

He sits down and you hear him tear a piece of paper. Oh, jeez. You then see a piece of paper fly on your desk. You sigh a little and pick it up and unroll it.

Sorry you had to see that

You frown a little and start writing back.

Why'd you even hit him?
-Y/n

He was saying rude stuff about you and I didn't like it.
-Zack

You furrow your eyebrows. Why is he lying? You heard and watched the whole thing.

Zack, I saw what happened. So why'd you even do it?

You hear him groan a little then he stops writing back. How does she not see it? He thought.

After Class

You raced out of the classroom to go and find Slater. You felt bad. Zack shouldn't have done that at all. You see him at his locker also with an upset face. You run up to him. "Slater?" He sees you then smiles a little. "Hey, Y/n" "are you okay?" You asked. "Wish I was. But now that you're here, I guess you can say yeah" he closed his locker and leaned against it looking at you.

You look down laughing a little then look back up at him. "Does it hurt?" You were meaning the black eye. "Only when I touch it" he shrugged. Zack stands at his locker watching you guys. His jealousy started to rise and his anger was getting the best of him. He wanted to punch Slater again. How could he be acting like the innocent one?

Lisa then comes up to Zack. "Hey, you okay?" She asked. He closes his locker and leans against it, too, while watching you guys still. You were laughing with him as you both talked. Lisa also looked over. "You like her a lot, huh?" Lisa smiled. "I don't even know if she likes me, though. Slater's making her smile like no one has ever" Zack was about to cry with jealousy.

"Oh, trust me, she does" Lisa's eyes then widen and Zack shoots his head towards her. "What?" Zack smiled uncrossing his arms and looking at her. "I-I-I was not suppose to say that. You didn't hear from me!!" She yelled running to her next class. Zack's bottom lipped is dropped with shock and surprise as he looks over at you.

His eyes then widen a little as Slater puts his arm around your neck and you both walk away smiling and laughing. Zack shakes his head with anger and runs up to you guys. He's had enough.
