I slam the irritating alarm that had gone off the second time again and grumble as I turn in my sheets. I close my eyes and inform myself that I will sleep for five more minutes.

"Should I start your shower?" I spaz at the sudden voice and screamed. I look over to the corner of my room to see the droid waiting there not bothered by my screaming.

"Is something wrong?" His voice so casual.

"What the fuck?" I clutch my heart and steady my breathing. I bunch my fists and throw my sheets off. "Why are you in my room, get out!" I walk to my bedroom door and motion for him to leave.

"You only have twenty minutes to get ready. You still have to shower, get dressed and eat. Unless you plan on wearing that to school, though I don't think that would pass with your school's dress code." The ring light on his temple glows and buffers for a moment. I open my mouth to question how he knew about my school's dress code when my voice gets caught in my throat as I realize what I was wearing. I slightly tug on the long long shirt that covered my pajama shorts feeling very exposed. I ignored the blood rushing to my cheeks and swung my door open.

"OUT!"

"Are you okay, I heard screaming?" Ken emerges in front of the door with a tired look. He looks at me and then at the robot before sighing. "Mark, I thought I told you to stay outside of the room." He rubs his face in annoyance as he pieced the puzzle together.

"I wanted to ensure her safety. What if someone tries to break her window while she sleeps?" He says in an obvious tone.

"We have cameras and motion sensors, I would know if someone tried to break in."

"Since when did we have motion sensors?" I interject.

"Since yesterday. Had you heard us out, you would have known." I suppress the urge to roll my eyes. There was no point in fighting, I didn't need my principal to chew me out for being late, I was already on thin ice. I tap the door with my hand and clear my throat.

"Yes, well if you'll excuse me, I have to get ready for school." I look to the android- or Mark and he nods.

"I'll pack your lunch and breakfast."

"That's not necessary-"

"Can you do that for me too?" Ken asks and I shoot him a baffled look.

"Of course, right away sir." I roll my eyes at their conversation and slam my door shut.

"Oh hey don't forget, your aunt and her son Ethan are coming today at 5pm. Please be here to welcome them yeah?" Ken says against the door.

"Wait what?" I open the door only to reveal the android and stop myself from jumping back.

"Is everything okay?" He says as he looks me down. I peer behind him to see that Ken was towards the staircase that lead to the foyer. "You seem surprised."

"I need to tie a bell on you. You're way too quiet." I fold my arms in annoyance and lean against the door. I would need to ask Ken for clarification about aunt Lisa. I knew they were moving in with us, but I didn't think it would be so soon.

"I can go buy one if you'd like." He states nonchalantly.

"What, no! I-I didn't mean it literally. You just need to stop creeping up on me." I ignore the blood rushing to my cheeks and stand up straight.

"Are you okay? Your face seems to be getting red, do you feel warm?" The robot reaches up to try and touch my face.

"What are you doing?" I say as I smack his hand.
