A year later Alexis is out one morning on a walk in wolf form. As she is walking she soon sniffs the air smelling different scents.
"Ah. Spring. Never ceases to amaze me that I can always find something new to smell." Alexis says as she sniffs the air before stopping as she smells a particular scent.
"Huh? Now that's a familiar scent. Couldn't be though. I haven't seen him since we were kids. One way to find out." Alexis says as she runs following the scent before stopping in some bushes and sees a light brown buck drinking from a stream.
"It is. It is Bambi." Alexis says happily before shifting to doe form and walking over.
"Hello again. It's been a long time." Alexis says causing Bambi to stumble back away from her.
"Who are you?" Bambi asks.
"You don't remember? Bambi it's me. Alexis. We used to play a lot when we were kids." Alexis says.
"Alexis?" Bambi asks.
"Yes." Alexis says as she smiles.
"What are you doing here?" Bambi asks.
"Just getting a drink is all. You've grown up a lot." Alexis says as she goes up to Bambi.
"Y-You have too." Bambi says as he backs away.
"What's the matter? Don't you like me anymore?" Alexis asks slightly hurt.
"That's not it..." Bambi says before be and Alexis see Faline.
"Good morning sister dear." Alexis says as she smiles at Faline.
"Morning Alexis. Hello Bambi." Faline says as she goes toward Bambi.
"Faline. Uh..." Bambi says as he backs up into a tree.
"Come on now. I don't bite." Falin says as she smiles before gently licking Bambi on the cheek.
"Wow..." Bambi says as he blushes slightly causing Faline to giggle as Alexis smiles and shakes her head before walking away before soon stopping upon hearing fighting and quickly runs back to see Bambi and Ronno fighting.
"Faline what happened?" Alexis asks as she runs over to a fearful Faline.
"Ronno. We stepped into his territory. They began fighting." Faline says as she and Alexis watch the two fighting bucks.
"Bambi! Ronno stop this!" Alexis shouts as she takes a few steps toward the fighting bucks.
"Alexis keep back!" Falien says as she and Alexis try to keep from getting hit accidentally before seeing Bambi throw Ronno over a cliff ledge.
"Ronno!" Alexis says as she goes over to Bambi with Faline and sees Ronno get up and leave below.
"Alexis are you alright?" Bambi asks concernedly.
"Yes. Thanks to you." Faline says as she nuzzles Bambi before he nuzzles her back as the two then walk away.
"I'm happy to see you both are okay but I'm gonna go." Alexis says as she shifts to wolf form and quickly leaves.
*Timeskip*
"Ronno! Ronno!?" Alexis shouts as she is walking in doe form later around a thicket.
"Who are you?" A voice says revealing to be Ronno.
"Ronno. Thank goodness you're okay." Alexis says happily.
"I said who are you? You're in my territory." Ronno says annoyedly.
"Ronno don't you recognize me? It's me. Alexis." Alexis says.
"Alexis?" Ronno asks curiously as Alexis nods and smiles.
"Yes. I saw what happened. Are you okay?" Alexis asks curiously.
"I'm fine. I was defending my territory. Besides wouldn't you rather be around the Prince's son?" Ronno asks as Alexis shakes her head.
"No. I came because I want to be around you." Alexis says.
"Really?" Ronno asks as Alexis nods.
"Really. If you'll let me." Alexis says.
"I don't know. I mean I've got all kinds of does interested in me. Why are you suddenly taking interest now? We haven't seen each other since we were kids." Ronno says as he gives a curious look.
"Because we lost touch... But I never lost how I felt. But if you really have so many options I guess I can leave." Alexis says as she begins to leave.
"No wait! You really wanna be my mate?" Ronno asks as he stops Alexis as she smiles.
"Yeah. Do you want me?" Alexis asks curiously.
"Yes. I'd love to have you as my mate." Ronno says as he smiles before Alexis nuzzles him.
