TW: Nightmares, accidental outing

Natalie looked up at Mary, wanting so badly to believe her, but she was too scared to. Mary saw the fear in her face and hugged her tighter.

"What do you have in your backpack, darlin'? Were you able to get any pajamas?" Mary asked. Natalie shook her head, tearing up again. "Shh. It's alright love. I've got a spare gown you can wear. Is that ok?"

"O-Oui, merci," Natalie mumbled.

"Of course dearie. You head to the guest room. It's the door next to the loo. I'll grab the nighty for you," Mary explained. Natalie nodded, before heading to the guest room. Meanwhile, Mary went into her own room, grabbing an oversized night gown from her bottom drawer. It was a pale mint with darker stars on it.

She picked up the gown, knocking on the guest bedroom door. "May I come in, love?"

"Y-Yes," a small voice called from inside. Mary felt a pang of guilt. She wondered briefly how long Natalie had suffered under Alexander's care. She shook the thought from her mind and opened the door. She handed Natalie the gown.

"Here ya go love. Would you like a cup of tea?" Mary asked. Natalie nodded. "Alright. You get changed, and I'll make you some decaf tea. Then, we can talk about what happened if you feel comfortable."

"Oui. I need to get some things off my chest," Natalie said, looking away.

"Anything you need to talk about, I'm willin' to listen," Mary promised, before leaving to make a cup of tea.

"How long has this been going on?" Mary asked. Natalie stared into her tea, bouncing her leg.

"Hm... He's been my caregiver since... Well, since after the Apex Games. So... 5 years." Natalie explained. "And this.. It always happens... But this time, he went to far."

"I see," Mary said, before taking a sip of her tea.

"There's... One more thing," Natalie said, her voice breaking. "He's kicked me out now... I don't have a place to stay... Or a caregiver."

"I'll take care of you if you'd like," Mary offered.

"R-Really? I... You don't want me... I'm too much trouble-" Natalie started.

"You're not. You're the sweetest Little I've ever met. I'd love to take care of you," Mary explained. Natalie smiled, tears falling down.

"Thank you," Natalie said quietly.

"Of course love... Now let's get to bed."

***

Mary awoke again to the sound of crying. Noting that only her and Natalie were in the house, she went to the guest bedroom. She knocked, but didn't get a response.

"Nattie? You alright in there, love?" Mary asked.

"Y-Yes... N-No-" Natalie called from inside.

"May I come in-" Mary started before being cut off.

"No! No... Please..." Natalie cried out.

"I'm going to come in, ok? I'm worried about you, love," Mary explained, before turning the door handle. Natalie was curled up on the bed, crying softly. There was a noticable wet spot next to her. "Oh love..."

"I-I'm so-sorry!" Natalie sobbed out.

"Hey, it's ok, it's not your fault. I'll change the sheets, and we'll get you a nice bath," Mary explained, offering her hand. Natalie nodded, still looking at the wet spot on the bed and her gown. She took her hand and got out of the bed.

Mary led her to the bathroom. "Do you think you can get out of your clothes on your own?"

"Oui!" Natalie responded too quickly. Mary nodded, turning on the faucet and checking the temperature of the water. Once it was at a good temperature, she let the water run for a few minutes until the tub was half full. She turned to Natalie, seeing her still in her undies.

"Ah, love... You wet your panties... Can you take them off and get into the tub? I'll come back with some spare clothes," Mary reassured her, unsure of how to handle the situation. Natalie started crying again. "Oh love... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfy-"

"I-It's not that... I'm... Well... I'm trans," Natalie finally admitted.

"Is that all?" Mary asked. "It's fine love. I promised I'd take care of you, no matter what."

Natalie nodded.

"I'll be right back love. Please get in the tub when you're ready," Mary explained, before leaving the room. She found a purple night gown in her drawer, and looked briefly at the pack of pull ups, before grabbing one. "I'm back love. May I come in?"

"Y-Yes," Natalie said, barely loud enough to be heard. Mary opened the door, setting the clothes down on the counter.

"Do ya need any help, dearie?" Mary asked.

"Non," Natalie replied.

"I'm gonna go change your sheets. Call if you need anything," Mary said, before leaving the room. She headed to the guest bedroom, stripping the bed of it's soaked sheets. She then put a spare set of sheets on. After a bit, Natalie came out of the bathroom, all clean. "Good girl, Nattie!"

"Thank you," Natalie said, clearly exhausted.

"Of course love. I'll always be here for you."
