You ever think, 'I'm so dead.'? I've thought that many times in my life, but never did I fall to Tartarus.

At least I managed to save Annabeth, I had grabbed her and heaved her up, but I slipped on a rat. Yeah, the fates do really hate me.

I can't believe this is how it'll end. I've always Ed hoped I would be able to live a long life of 20 years, but I was dying 3 years too early.

I had been falling for a few days, or was it weeks? I didn't know, all I knew is that I was still falling. I still had riptide with me, but I didn't know what good it would do me if I were dead.

After about a week of falling, I could see the bottom. I was set to land in a black pit of water, but I couldn't control the liquid.

I plunged into the abyss, and blacked out.

When I woke up, I was in a strange place. I was bound to a chair, and I felt tired.

"So the one who survived falling into my sea is awake?" I heard a female voice say.

I tried to respond, but my voice wouldn't obey. I saw a figure step out of the darkness, wearing the night sky as a dress.

"I am lady Khaos, and I am surprised you survived" she said, walking closer to me.

"Aww, the poor hero can't speak?" She mocked me, now a yard away.

"Is the hero scared?" She was right in front of me now, lifting my chin up to face her. She was beautiful, but I could tell she was deadly.

She undid my chains, allowing my arms to move.

"Take this, young hero. If you want to make it out of Tartarus, you'll need it." She presented me with a beautiful pen, I could feel it radiating power.

I took it, and pulled the top off. It sprang into an elegant blade, life riptide would.

"Now young hero, it's time for you to go." And then I felt myself disassemble and reassemble somewhere else.
