You woke up to birds twittering loudly. The sun shone brightly. Your eyelids were heavy and your head was throbbing as you tried to remember where you were.
But your head was blank.

You saw multiple beds and curtains. The Hospital Wing.

You heard footsteps slowly but surely getting louder, a pair of feet pounded against the floor. Your head became heavier and it fell back onto several pillows. You lost control over your body and your eyes closed themselves. Laughter and footsteps, two people, girl and boy and tears filled your mind.
"Why did you think that I cared about you? That I ever liked or loved you? I just felt sorry for you. I wanted to leave you."

A hand shook your left shoulder when another hand was resting on your right cheek.

Water is strong. With water you can create so many things, but at the same time destroy so much more.
Tears were practically water, and tears rolled down your face like the rain falls on the earth during a thunderstorm. Your tears broke his heart, but at the same time they made his love for you grow stronger.

A smile and pain flashed back into your thoughts, followed by blackness.
"I'm so scared. What if something happens? I love her."

Warmth is what keeps everything alive. Warmth is as important to humans as shadow is to creatures that live in the deepest corners of the ocean.
Warmth is what kept the fire inside of you, that was your fuel, lit. Warmth in the form of another human being showing the attraction he felt for you in the form of a kiss.

You inhaled sharply.

--- 4 hours later---

Your hand rested on the back of your head. You sat in an armchair in the (your house) common room. A smile was plastered on your face as your friends, no, everyone that was in your house, celebrated your return. They missed you. Your head started to sting so you stood up and received some funny looks. "I just want to walk around. I'll
be back."
You were finally standing outside of your common room, but you still weren't alone. Oliver stood in front of you.
"Mind joining me for a walk?" his voice was as still coated into a Scottish accent, just like it always was. His hand was stretched out, longingly waiting for your hand to join his. You laid your hand into his, intertwining your fingers. His hand was shaking uncontrollably yet he smiled when you looked at him.

"You know," you started to say the moment the sun hit the top of your heads. "I still don't understand why people think the sun is the most dangerous thing ever, yet they know that they can't live without it. But I realized that the sun is replaceable. Just like the most things on this planet. Nothing special. I felt that way, you know? Replaceable. Seeing you with that girl. I thought I meant nothing to you. But now I know that I'm not. I'm not replaceable. Nobody will ever be the same like you or me. Nobody will ever be exactly like you or me. Ever. But everyone has one thing in common. Just one thing. That they love a person more than they could ever explain with words. And for me that person is you. I swear, I couldn't have woken up earlier without you. I love you."

Your day ended like it began. With birds twittering and the sun shining. But the birds were asleep and the sun long gone. Those things were both replaced by the most important you had. Lying next to him was peaceful and you finally felt like you belonged.
