Damon's POV

I walked up to Elena's coffin, one last time before I let her go for 60 years.

I looked at her and touched her face, wishing I could kiss her one last time.

"I don't know how I'll do this without you, but I will. Just for you." I chuckled a bit. "If I was selfish like I was before, I would have killed Bonnie, but you changed me Elena, that's why I'm doing this for you." I walked away, thinking about Elena as a tear rolled down my cheek.

May 17th 2075

Elena's POV

I woke up in a coffin, I was so confused... but then I remembered when everyone got in to my head and I knew almost everyone I knew would have been dead. Including Bonnie and Damon probably moved on but I just kicked open the coffin and was trying to find somebody on the streets, but it was dark and crowded in the streets, How would I be able to find anyone? I let out a sigh. But then I saw him. Him. Damon Salvatore. I ran into his arms quickly. "Damon! Oh my god... I can't believe what happened." I pulled away from the hug. "But, that doesn't matter now" I looked at him. "Now I'm here."

Damon seemed shocked and he smiled instantly when he saw me. "Elena... I missed you so much"

"I know you did-" I got interrupted by him. "No, don't talk, I missed you too much to have this conversation" He pulled me into a kiss. Then he pulled away and sighed. "I need to get you home." He grabbed my hand and speeded me to the boarding house and he called Caroline and Bonnie immediately and they came as fast as they could.

"Elena!" Caroline squealed and hugged me tightly.

"Elena!" Bonnie smiled "I can't believe I'm seeing you right now" she joined the hug.

I smiled at them. Then I frowned a bit confused. "Wait... how am I here if Bonnie isn't dead? I asked with concern in my voice and turned to Bonnie.

Bonnie frowned. "I don't know. But anyways, you need to know something" Bonnie sighed. "Jeremy, Matt and Tyler are... dead"

I looked down, knowing this would happen but still shocked. I lost 3 people right when I wake up. A tear rolls down my cheek but I wipe it away trying to enjoy the fact that I'm back. "We can focus on that later. I'm back!"

Bonnie Caroline and Damon smiled at me. But then we all spotted a strange man outside our house. He was all dressed in black and he had a hood on but we could only see him smirk. His smirk. It was familiar. We all started at him for a minute but then he got tired of the staring and he broke the door with magic.

"Oops" He chuckled and revealed himself. Kai parker. "I never loose. Ever." He smirked.

Bonnie gasped and looked at him

"Kai."
