I ran up the steps and opened the front door to find Aidan and Sally looking out the window watching Max walk off. I sat my backpack promptly in the front hall.

"So who was that, Halynn?," Aidan said while he turned his gaze towards me as Sally did also.

"He's just a friend guys. He just transferred here., " I said with a slight grin on my face.

As I was about to walk up the stairs, Aidan called my name.

I turned around and saw he was holding something behind his back.

"I got you something.," He said smiling. He took his hands from behind his back and revealed it was a book with a red ribbon tied around it.

He handed it over to me and before I untied the ribbon I Replied to him, "This better not be a Twilight book."

He smirked at my comment and I undid the red ribbon. The book was heavy and old looking. The cover of the book felt like leather and the title was neatly and beautifully carved into the leather. I read the cover out loud, "Psychic Powers, Spells, Potions, & Creatures" This was going to be interesting read.

I gave Aidan a hug and thanked him deeply. This book meant a lot to me. I may have answers to so many questions that have been running around in my head because I can't ask anyone else. I'm the only person I know that has powers. I mean I know a a few of Aidan's vampire associates and his creator, Philip. Josh used to know another werewolf, but he died a couple months ago. But what I'm trying to say is that they have or had people to go to when they couldn't figure something out, or if they didn't understand something about what they are, and what they will be.

"I hope you like it., " Aidan told me as I walked up the stairs and into my room.

I sat my new, yet old book on my bedside table. II sat down at my vanity and started to touch up my make up. I put on some red lipstick, outlined my lips with black gel liner, then started to blend the black inwards. As I was finishing up my make up, Sally appeared in my mirror sitting on my bed.

I turned towards her.

"You going somewhere, Halynn?," Sally asked with a nosey tone in her voice with a grin on her face. I couldn't help but give her a guilty smile.

"I'm going to a party. Just don't tell Josh. You know he'll flip shit."

"Are you going with that Max guy? Be safe and use protection.," She said giggling.

"I would so throw something at you, but it would go right through you. We're just friends Sally. Do I look okay? Should I change into a different outfit?"

"You look just fine the way you are. You'll be fine."

All of a sudden I had a shooting pain going through my head and my hands.I scrunched my face and put my hand over my face. The pain was almost unbearable.

"Oh my god, are you okay?," Sally exclaimed.

I just sat there breathing heavy and trying to bear this pain I was feeling. I went and plopped on my bed face down next to Sally. I could feel her icy cold hands stroking the back of my head. I turned my body to where I was facing upward and I pushed my hair off of my forehead and asked Sally to put her hand on forehead to see if it would help the pain any. My pains started to sooth away within twenty minutes.

"Imma go downstairs and take an ibuprofen just in case the pain comes back.," I told Sally.

I walked out of my room and grabbed the rail of the stairs and something started to happen to me. I was seeing something, a vision. At first I couldn't make out much, but it was exactly where I was standing I saw Sally and a man at the top of the stairs arguing. Sally was wearing the same thing she wore now, the clothes she died in.
