Before the story starts I'd just like to say, thank you for the request!🤍 I think this is the longest oneshot I've written so far lmao,
sorry it took so long to write!, it's been giving me a really hard time and lots of writers-block🥲  but it's all worth i since I really love the ending, and I think you will too! also! If some of the parts feel a little disconnected, my apologies! This was written over several months so it might feel a little Frankenstein-ish anyways,

Niki's POV:

It was a Tuesday morning, I had only just arrived at school and I was walking through the halls to get to my locker and meet my best friend for our morning talk, when I suddenly stopped in my tracks.

There he was.

Kim Sunoo.

The Kim Sunoo I have had a crush on ever since middle school, when I first moved to Korea.

Also the Kim Sunoo who didn't seem to know i existed.

I stared at him talking to his friend for what felt like ages, but was really just about 10 seconds, before someone interrupted.

"Hey lovebird" said a familiar voice from behind me, I nearly jumped out of my skin, only to turn around to see my best friend.

"Jake hyung! You almost gave me a heart attack" I almost yelled while softly smacking his arm.

"Sorry" he laughed "but if I didn't interrupt your gawking would've started to look weird"

"I was not gawking!" I denied, embarrassed despite knowing it was true, it did look weird. Luckily Sunoo never looked back.

Or so I thought.

Sunoo's POV:

I was talking to my best friend Jungwon by my locker, when I saw someone I'd been wanting to see ever since I woke up this morning.

"Hello? Earth to Sunoo hyung?" Jungwon questioned while waving his hand infront of my face as I slowly tuned him out.

I suddenly turned back to him because Niki looked my way and I didn't want to look like I was staring even though I totally was.

"And he's back everyone" Jungwon said sarcastically.

"Don't act like you don't start drooling whenever Sunghoon walks by!" I countered.

"That's different! He's literally my boyfriend! You don't even talk to Niki!"
(A/N you know I had to get some SungWon in there ;) )

"You're acting like you confessed to him the moment you knew you liked him, and never made anything weird for me" I sassed

he rolled his eyes at me and we both laughed, I looked back, and Niki was walking away while talking to Jake.

"Talking about Sunghoon, aren't you gonna go say hi or something?" I asked, not having seen them talk all day, which was unusual for them.

Just as I finished speaking the bell rang,
"Yeah you're right, I actually have a class with him right now, bye!" He said, and I waved as we both started walking away to our classes.

Niki's POV:

I had only just gotten to my locker when the bell rang, "Oh, the bell" Jake, who was next to me, talking interrupted himself, "Sorry Niki, I have to get to class, I'll talk to you at lunch okay?"
