(Author's Note) Hello everyone. Sorry if I haven't been publishing any chapters recently. My Senior year has been more busy than expected. However, if I am lucky, I will probably post the first chapter after Christmas day. Speaking of which, I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas day. I also hope you all enjoy this prologue, which isn't long. It just has a small opening and a song. Enjoy.

...

It was a beautiful night in a well, lit up city as some people were walking the streets while waving hello to each other as they passed by the streets. However, there weren't just people walking on the streets, but also animals. Some were walking on four legs while some were walking on two as they were also wearing some clothes. Some more people and creatures were walking, until some of them noticed a poster that said: "WANTED: Daxton. Dead or Alive. Reward: $5,000."

However, while they were reading the Wanted poster, a hooded figure ran passed them with a bag on his back. While running, he took a turn into an alleyway and stopped while hiding behind a wall. After he did that, he peeked his head out to make sure if he hadn't been followed. Once he confirmed that, he put his head back behind the wall and took off his hood, revealing him to be the man, or rather boy on the Wanted poster, Daxton.

After he took off his hood, he let out a sigh of relief while smiling a bit. "There he is!" Someone shouted, which caused Daxton to gasp in shock. "The thief! He's in the alleyway!" That same person cried out while making a scene, which caused Daxton to pick up his back and immediately climb the building right next to him. However, someone grabbed the bag Daxton was holding, which caused him to look down and see that a Rabbit officer grabbed it. "Daxton! You are under arrest for stealing!" The Rabbit said to Daxton in a stern tone.

"Fine. Fine. I'll drop the bag." Daxton replied as he let go of the bag, as well as the Rabbit officer, who hit the ground with the bag with a grunt. After that, she opened the bag to see nothing but pillows inside it, which surprised her. "Hey!" She called out as she looked up at Daxton, who made it to the top of the building then looking down at the Rabbit with a smirk. "Looking for these, Officer Hopps?" Daxton asked the Rabbit while holding a bag of bread for her to see as intense, Arabian music began to play.

This caused Officer Hopps to let out an angry grunt as she tapped onto her walkie-talkie. "Officer Wilde, this is Officer Hopps. I found our Street Rat.  Sending you the coordinates now. I'm gonna engage him." Officer Hopps said on the mic before she put it away then started to chase after Daxton, who began running on the roofs of the buildings as the Arabian music got even more intense, which caused him to start singing.

(The song I decided to add to this prologue is called "One Jump Ahead" from the Live-action Disney movie Aladdin.)

Daxton: Gotta keep one jump ahead of the breadline
One swing ahead of the sword
I steal only what I can't afford

(And that's everything)

One jump ahead of the lawmen
That's all, and that's no joke
These guys don't appreciate I'm broke

Officers and Soldiers: Riff raff!
Street Rat!
Scoundrel!

Daxton: Take that!
Try a different tac', guys

Officers and Soldiers: Rip him open

Nick Wilde: 'Round the back lines

Daxton: I can take a hint, gotta face the facts
Could really use a friend or two (
Huh?)
