After Bella's birthday, the Cullens left, taking Bella's soul with them. She has become dull and dead like, she wakes up screaming every night.
She doesn't eat and if she does its only the amount she needs to survive. Her father, Charlie is very concerned about her and has been missing sleep, because of her nightmares.
She has reached her low, she never comes out of her room and almost never talks, she hasn't even noticed her necklace glowing. Charlie was contemplating to send her to Renée, Bella's mother.
Charlie was pacing in the living room with phone in hand, getting ready to call her, when the doorbell rang. Charlie frowned, they weren't expecting visitors, he walked over and opened the door.
Charlie's eyes went wide, a blond haired woman, who was beautiful stood on the other side of the door.

She gave him a small smile and began "Hi! I am Hela Vesper, Bella's friend from Arizona. I came here to visit her?"
Charlie looked at her with even more surprise and stuttered "Uh- y-yeah I'm Charlie-"
"I know. Bella told me about you before" Hela cut off with another smile.
"Oh- uhh- come in, Bella's upstairs in her room, but she has been having a hard time, so she can be uhh- mean." Charlie stuttered again and pointed upstairs.
She smiled at him once more and then walked to Bella's room. When she walked in, it was dark and she spotted Bella just staring out the window.
Hela sighed and walked next to her as she saw the necklace glowing. Hela snapped her fingers in front of bella's face as she said "Hello?? Anybody in there?"
"Dad I'm not hungry" mumbled Bella while she just kept staring out the window.
Hela gaped and grabbed Bella's chair as she turned her around while yelling "Do I look like your fucking father?"
Bella's eyes went wide as she shot up from her seat, stumbling as she tried to stand still and yelled "Who are you!"
"shhh" Hela shushed her while making weird hand motions.
Charlie bursted into the room and asked "Everything okay in here?"
Hela raised her eyebrows in a way that said 'play along' She smiled at Charlie while saying "Everything is just fine, we saw a spider and because of that I yelled, which made Bella yell"
Charlie nodded with a suspicious expression and left the room.
Bella turned to her and harshly whispered "Who the hell are you?!?"
"Don't tell me you don't remember little old me now. Come on, I gave you that necklace when you were younger?" Hela pouted as she pointed towards the necklace.
Bella's brows furrowed and in a flash she remembered a blond woman kneeled in front of her saying"This necklace will summon me, when you're at your worst and feel all alone, I will come and be the best friend you could ask for."
