*1 day later*
We were on the bus headed for LA and according to Issa we are almost there. He was sitting on the bus floor while I was twisting his locs. I was almost done, we just needed it to dry.
"Air dry?" I asked poking his shoulder.
"Yeah, I dont like blow dryers. It feels weird."
I giggled and called him a weirdo. I put the last clip in his hair and got up to stretch. When a long yawn escaped my lips Issa asked if I was really tired with a smirk on his face. I sat on his lap and rested my head on his shoulder. "Hold the sleepy person," I mummbled making him laugh and pull me closer.
"You really like me holding you, dont you?
"Mhm. Makes me feel safe and warm."
" Sasha, with me, you're always safe."
"Mhm..." I was beginning to fall asleep.
*Dream*
I was in a black room... pitch black, when I heard a faint scream. A child? I tried to look around but I couldnt see anything. "Mommy!" She ran to me and held my leg. So it was a child....
"Uhm, little girl Im not your-"
"Yes you are. He said you were." She looked at me and I instantly recognized those green eyes. Just like Issa's. Every other facial feature was like looking into a mirror. Her hair was a light brown and extremely long.
I kneeled down to her level, "Whats your name sweety?"
"Mommy, dont you know? Its Sierra Leone."
"How old are you?"
"I dont know," she shrugged. "I havent even been born yet. But I do know something else. Something important."
"What is is hun," I asked pulling her small body in my lap.
"Ive been sent here as a messenger."
"A messenger? By who?"
"I dont know who he is but hes cool people. I get candy every day. He said that if you dont start being careful I'll be here earlier than planned. Its not my time yet. Whatever that means..."
This little girl is very fluent to be so small...."Okay, did he say when your time was?"
"Uh no. But I think youre about to wake up. Tell daddy and aunty & uncle I said hi," She said beginning to fade away.
*End Dream*
What the hell does all that mean?! A child being the spitting image of me and Issa? Being careful? Not her time yet? My face scrunched up as I felt someone shaking me rather violently. "WHAT?!" I sat up quickly. My face was damp and I was in Issa's bed.
"Babe calm down. Whats going on? You were mumbling and you kept saying a name."
"I think I saw our daughter."
He looked at me like I was crazy.
"She said something about being careful and it not being- OH! I get it now!"
"What? Get what?"
"Issa, she meant we need to start protecting ourselves from an unplanned pregnancy smarty. Its not our time to have kids yet."
