Mr. Delicious

So…new story! I hope u guys like it (: Its actually really funny- the reason I named the story Mr. Delicious lol. So one day my friend and I saw this cute sophomore at school and I was like “mmm, delicious (;” and she actually went up to him and was like “Hey Mr. Delicious” in a sexy voice and he was like “thanx… I guess” lmao it was SO funny! So now we refer to him as Mr. Delicious instead of his actual name! Enjoy (:

Mr. Delicious {1}

I sighed as I stepped out of my little Nissan Altima and stared up at my new house. It was pretty decent sized and looked good; it was pale green with white shutters, had a little garden in the front, and the forest was the backyard. I smiled to myself, this will be perfect for me and the girls. I went and opened the back doors and unbuckled my little sisters, Daliah(Dah-lee-uh) and Deliah(Dee-lee-uh), from their car seats.

“Come on, girlies. Let’s go explore our new house!” I took them both by the hand and led them in. I showed them where their room was, then went on to see mine. The master bedroom was pretty big, it had a walk- in and its own full bathroom.

I sauntered over to the window seat and sat down, looking out at the forest. There were mountains in the distance and I could see a big lake too. I would grow to love this view, I thought to myself. I could hardly believe we were actually living here, in Colorado. It seemed almost unreal. Last week we were living with our parents in North Carolina, we had a big estate down there with a farm and animals. Now, my parents are gone and I have to take care and support the three of us on my own.

A tear trailed down my cheek and I wiped it away, but it seemed that once I started I couldn’t stop and soon I was full-on crying. I tried to wipe the tears away and stop, I had to be strong, but I just couldn’t.

“Nat? Why are you cwying?” I turned to look at Daliah and Deliah who were both standing in the doorway with confused expressions on their faces. I smiled at them.

“Oh, it’s nothing. Do you like your new room?” I asked. They both just nodded and came over and hugged me.

“Don’t cwy Nat. We wuv you!” Deliah said. They both squeezed me tighter and I gave a little laugh.

“I know you do, loves. I love you too! And always will!” I told them and gave both of them a kiss on the forehead.

“Now, do you want to go help me unpack our stuff for tonight? The moving van doesn’t get here ‘til tomorrow.” They nodded and obediently followed me outside to the car. I grabbed two pillows and handed each of them one and I grabbed my pillow and a bunch of blankets, a portable DVD player, and snacks.

I set up a small bed of blankets and pillows on the floor in my room. We laid down and watched movies until they both fell asleep. Checking my phone, I saw it was about 10 pm. So I got up quietly and checked all the windows and doors to see if they were locked, then went back up to my room and sat at the window seat. I stared out into the darkness, even at night the forest was alive. I was about to go and lay back down when I saw something that terrified me. A pair of glowing red eyes, in the trees just a little away from the house. On closer inspection, I discovered that there wasn’t only one but four pairs of these eyes that seemed to pierce through me. But one pair seemed to stand out; glowing emerald ones instead of the other red.
