Now that I was fully awake I couldn't fall back to sleep " babe, I can't sleep" I whined rolling on top of him

Huffing I grabbed my phone going down to the kitchen grabbing the leftover cake from the fridge I sat it on the counter grabbing the cake knife I cut me a piece putting it on a plate the put the rest of the cake back in the fridge

Turning around just in time to catch Dave taking a bite out of my cake
