New sight

You looked outside of the chopper window and saw that it was nighttime . A few hours had passed and Riley was laying down lounging  and the others were resting their eyes . You also saw that you were coming up on something that looked like a city . Bright lights illuminated the sky making it look like there were little lights coming from out of the ground. You smiled at the view and thought about how pretty it was but the thing you didn't know was what state you would be in . You rested your head on Ghosts shoulder and he looked down and his gaze softened.
" Dad, what state are we going to ?"
You asked through your headset that was given to you.
" Nope we're not heading to America , they're dropping us off at an airport so we can head out to Manchester England ."
You looked up at Ghost with an excited look and you said wow under your breath while looking up at soap. Soap was resting a bit and Gaz was just staring at the ceiling .You rested for an hour until you heard a static-like voice come from your headset .
" we're heading up to the airport. get ready for landing."
The pilot said throughout yours and the others headsets .
" Roger that ."
Ghost said as he looked down at you.
" get ready spook , we're heading to the airport now ."
Ghost never liked where he grew up but this is where his house was and this is where you were going . He didn't have family to go to but just going back made him uneasy . He never wanted to go back to the place where there were too many bad memories.he promised himself and made sure that when you landed he would keep his eyes on you and never take 'em off, not even for a minute . You started to land and you got closer to a helicopter pad . You looked down at the big H symbol down below and it made you tap your feet in excitement . You felt the helicopter rock a bit and you heard the noise die down as the rosters of the helicopter stop . One of the co pilots went into the back and opened up the doors . You got up and unstrapped yourself quickly and you helped Riley and unstrapped him and you put on his leash while putting your rucksack on your back .
Ghost did the same and the others followed . Soap tropes off first and he waits for you and the others . You ducked your head as you stepped out of the aircraft and you picked up Riley and set him on the floor . You looked up and noticed the starry night sky and how there was a cold breeze . Ghost stood next to you and you looked at Gaz and the others .
" Well , this is where we part, guys ."
Gaz broke the silence.
The pilots handed you guys your tickets and drop
Off point to which gate you would go to catch your planes .
" I guess so ."
Price said .
" Where are you headed ?."
You asked for soap .
" I'm headed back to Scotland , my home country."
He said while looking down at his passport.
" How bout you tio Gaz."
" I'm headed home ".
He said as he looked at the others .
" We've gotta catch a plane that leaves in 35 minutes ."
Ghost said he looked down at his watch.
" okay."
You said a bit quietly .
You ran over to soap and gave him a hug and you hugged Alejandro and the others.
" I'm gonna miss you guys so much ."
You said as you fixed Riley's vest .
" Keep fighting the good fight, hermano."
Soap said as he nodded to Alejandro and gave him a hand shake .
" to a bitter end my brother ."
Alejandro said back .
Soap walked off and patted Ghost's shoulder and he headed for the doors to the airport leaving .
You and ghost started to walk off , you holding Riley's leash leading him to wherever you and ghost were going with your backs to them.
" Ghost ."
Alejandro yelled out to ghost and you .
" no te pierdas hermano."

" ahuevo "

Ghost said as her turned and raised his fist and continued to walk.
" keep her safe ."
Alejandro added .
" will do ."
Ghost said as he kept you close .
You both walked into the airport and were met with a fresh clean smell . There were many people who walked the opposite way of you and ghost . Riley stood very close to you protecting you as well. You walked a bit and finally came up to security so they could check your bags .
" Sir, place your bags in the bag area so we can check them ."
The security lady said .
You and ghost both listen and place your rucksacks in the containers and then the security checks your bags . They found nothing but some clothes and a few other things that were non lethal . She cleared  you and ghost and you picked up your rucksack and you held Riley's leash tight .
Their security searched you with a metal detector and they didn't find much . You wonder where your dad put all his knives including yours cause they would've found them already . You walked through security and around many people and you had finally reached your destination gate . You had ten minutes until your departure so you sat in the waiting area in one of the seats . You placed your rucksack down next to you and Riley sat under your chair. Ghost sat next to you with his rucksack between his legs and he kept his eyes on you . The security didn't tell you about Riley due to him being a working service dog so they let him off plus you had a paid ticket for him.
A lady and her kids passed you and ghost and the kids looked at you and ghost with awe.
" Thank you for your service ."
The mother said .
You and ghost both nodded your heads as you watched the mother walk off with her children .
You didn't mind it at times when people did this but sometimes it got annoying.
You had a boy about your age sit next to you and she was with a woman. You assumed it was his mother and you shrugged it off letting Riley .
" Hey, is this your dog ?"
The bog asked curiously .
" yeah he's a working dog ."
You said simply .
" Does he have a name ?"
He said while looking down at him .
" It's Riley , he's a military dog ."
You said as you wrapped his leash around your hand .
Ghost eyes down the boy's mother watching how she was on her phone .
" im hunter ."
The boy said while holding out his hand .
" I'm y/n."
You spoke as you shaked the boy's hand politely.
Ghost stared at the boy, eyeing him down like a hawk . The boy had brown curly hair and brown eyes . He wore a blue shirt with some gray sweatpants with some converse sneakers .
" Nice to meet you ."
You said as you gave him a smile .
You made sure you had your crutches with you and they were placed under the next chair by Ghost .
" Who's the masked man?"
Hunter asked curiously.
" oh that's my dad ."
You said proudly .
" He looks cool."
Hunter said as he looked at Ghost and back at you.
You kinda felt nervous and you didn't know why , it's almost as if you had butterflies. You Looked At how his hair fell around his face  and you saw how his eyes grew lighter in the sun that was coming from the window.
" Are you all military?"
Hunter asked.
" yes ."
You said hoping to avoid more questions about it.
" What unit are you in ?"
" That's classified information ."
You said sternly .
" Oh hunter , I see you've made a new friend."
The mother said as he looked at you.
She gave a look towards Ghost and her face said it all . She looked like she had seen the end of the world happen . She looked nervous .
" So y/n you headed to Manchester huh."
He said while moving a bit closer to you.
You felt your stomach flip and your face was brushed with a light pink tint .
" yeah just heading home ."
You said softly .
Ghost was smirking under his mask. He watched how your body language changed . You fiddle with your hands and your face is brushed with a light pink tint . You looked a bit nervous and you weren't as laid back as before.
" So hun , what's your name ?"
His mother asked .
" It's y/n "
You said sheepishly .
"  I'm Hunter's mother , are you alone by chance.?"
She was a bit concerned .
" She's with me ."
Ghost said sternly and the woman looked up to see a very intimidating masked man .
" That's my dad ."
You said as you pointed to him .
" uh hello sir ."
She said nervously .
" ma'am ."
He said deeply  as he gave her a respectful nod .
" So y/n do you do anything for fun ."
Hunter asked with a smile on his face .
" nothing really , mostly make masks if not exercise ."
You spoke not wanting to give away any information about yourself.
" That's cool ."
' Start heading to the gates. The plane to Manchester England leaves in two minutes. Please get ready and head to your gate .'
A woman over an intercom said, You used your crutches and stood up and placed your rucksack on your back . You pulled a marker from your side pouch with a piece of paper and you wrote down your number and handed it to hunter quickly .
" friends , text me later on ."
You said as you grabbed your things and Riley and started to head to the boarding gates .
" bye y/n I promise to text you later when I land."
Hunter said as he got up with his mother and went to their gate .
" c,mon y/n ."
Ghost said and you hurried and handed your ticket to the lady near the gate and you started to walk down a little hallway. You kept Riley close to you and you made sure that he was not going anywhere . You entered the plane and walked down the small aisle and you were soon in your row , there were three seats so you took the window seat and Riley sat next to you. Ghost took your bags and his and threw them in the overhead compartment and he sat down next to you giving your shoulder a slight nudge .
" meeting boys huh."
He said playfully .
" Oh shut up, we 're just mutuals ."
You said as you looked out your window.
" You like him, don't you?"
Ghost said teasingly .
" N-No ."
You said nervously .
Ghost let out a chuckle and he got comfortable in his seat and he strapped himself in.you did the same and Riley was sitting in his seat not moving around and he looked at you .you got weird looks from other people but you shrugged it off .
Hunter walked into the other aisle and he put his luggage away and he sat in his seat next to his mother and took out his phone . He put his number into his phone and gave you a text before the plane started .
" hey y/n this is me hunter , save my number in your phone so we can text ."
Hunter texted .
You felt a buzz come from your pocket and you took out your phone to see you had gotten a text.
You saw that it was hunter and you saved his number in your phone and you texted him back.
" Hey again I'll text you after we land , I gotta put my phone in airplane mode ."
You texted back .
" Alright then , I know we just met but we'll be great friends I know we will ."
Hunter responded .
" We'll see about that ."
You said .
" I'll talk to you later ."
You texted back .
" Talk to you soon , bye y/n :) ."
" bye hunter ."
You put your phone down and looked up at ghosts.
" If he hurts you or does anything to bother you I will make sure that never does it again ."
Ghost said sternly .
You shot hunter a quick one more text and hoped that he answered.
" Hey how old are you , I'm just curious ".
You asked hoping you didn't over Step.
" I'm 13 hbu ?"
He asked.
" I'm 13 too lol but if anything we could FaceTime later ."
You said .
" Sounds like a plan , my mom really likes you for some reason. I mean we just left but she thinks me and you are gonna be great friends."
He texted back.
" like I said , we'll see about that ."
" alright lol see you then ."
You said and put your phone down .
You thought it was a stupid move to give someone you just let your number but you really needed a friend and plus you were both going to the same place so might as well make new friends along the way . The pilot said the usual and you heard the plane's engines roar to life. You felt it live and soon you were up in the air getting ready. You had at least 4 hours of the plane ride which you hoped would go smoothly but most of all you hoped that you could trust your new friend but you will see about that soon .
