This was not what Ni-ki expected.

"It may take my whole lifetime for me to understand in what sense Mrs.Lee gave me 93/100 when all I did was to write utter bullshit on the exam sheet."

The teen spoke unbelievably as he stared right into his chemistry exam sheet he received today.

Last week when the exam was held,Ni-ki thought he wasn’t prepared for the test even though he studied all night for it. He just thought to himself that he was gonna fail this test and seemingly forgot about the test.

But today when Mrs.Lee started giving out the exam sheets after checking them,the smug smile she gave Ni-ki felt suspicious.

Ni-ki thought when taking the paper from her. But he understood everything at once when he looked at his marks. Ni-ki got nothing but gobsmacked.

"Ayo congrats dude. When's the treat?"

Hidetoshi Dekisugi, another fellow Japanese classmate of Ni-ki chirped as he threw his arm over Ni-ki's shoulders. He was also a foreigner student just as Ni-ki and was also one of the top students in their class.

"Let me comprehend this miracle before. It's too hard for me to understand how did I even score so high?!"

Ni-ki rambled as he carefully examined his own answer sheet. Dekisugi just let out a laugh as he gave Ni-ki a light pat on the back and went out of the class,secretly winking at Tachibana,who was known as Dekisugi's love interest.

Tachibana meanwhile,just pretended that she didn’t see Dekisugi winking at her. Where internally,her heart was exploding because she also,felt the same towards Dekisugi.

Coming back to Ni-ki,he just sat on his seat even though it was lunch time. Organic hemistry wasn’t actually his favourite subject,instead it was a subject which he despised a bit. Now seeing that he scored the highest in this exam without even preparing well for it was actually something good. It felt nice to him to be honest.

"Hi!"

Ni-ki jolted up because of the sudden presence around him. Looking at his right side,his face visibly scrunched in confusion.

"Yehnjin,am I right?"

The owner of the name nodded with enthusiasm, her lips curving into an elegant smile.

Everything about her was elegant.

That's what Ni-ki thought to himself while staring at her crystal blue eyes.

"And you're Ni-ki right? It's so nice to meet you!"

She extended her hand towards Ni-ki with utmost excitement,because of which Ni-ki couldn’t help but to shake her hand. A faint smile ghosting on his lips.

"I could say the same."

"Aww you're so sweet! Wait what's it? Your exam sheet? Can I take a look please?"

Yehnjin asked looking at Ni-ki with her big doe eyes. And of course,how could Ni-ki refuse here?

"Yeah of course......here you go."
