Katsuki Bakugou x oc: Fiery Spirit

Chapter 4

Aria's pov

Bakugou and I were waiting for him to dry off. The silence was getting way too heavy so I decided to break it. "I could use Fuego to make it quicker for u to be dried off." I told him.  Bakugou turned to look at me and said "Nah, first off, I don't trust u with that shit, second off I'm dried off enough, so let's head to my dorm."  He stood up and got his stuff and I followed after him. he opened the door and let me go first and followed after me. we started walking toward the dorms. "Bakugou, how does your quirk work? I asked. "He stayed quiet for a while, probably thinking if he could trust me or not to tell me bout his quirk, and sighed. "I sweat nitroglycerin. when I sweat I can light it automatically which allows me to create big explosions. It also depends on my environment. when you threw that big water torpedo my way that washed me and also washed off my sweat. so if you were a villain, I would've been automatically dead." He explained. "I guess it's a good thing I'm on the good guy's side." I told him laughing a bit. He laughed too and said " yea I guess your right. Do you have any drawbacks to your quirk?" I nodded and said "My eyes get dry if I use elemental dragon after elemental dragon. I can only use one cause if not I'll use up my energy trying to summon two at once." I said. "have you tried it?" Bakugou asked. "Yep. I was asleep for two days." I told him.  "We gotta work on how to get your energy up so you can summon two." Bakugou said. "Yea. Just in case." I said. We were walking in silence. we passed my dad's classroom and I wondered if he already went home after dropping off my stuff at bakugou's dorm. "Bakugou, are sure you're okay with this?" I asked.  He stopped and looked at me. He took a step towards me and said "If I wasn't sure I wouldn't go through with it princess. It's the least I could do for leaving a bruise on you." I looked into his crimson-red eyes while he looked at mine. He was looking at my lips and eyes. Just then my phone buzzed and it jolted me out of my staring contest with bakugou.



Mina: Where r u and bakugou? Kirishima made dinner for everyone in the common room.

Me: Ah really. We got carried away with training we'll be there soon.

I exited out of the messages and turned off my phone.  I looked at bakugou and said "That was Mina. She was wondering where we were. said that Kirishima made dinner for everyone in the common room." "Come on we better hurry. It's already 6." Bakugou replied checking the time. 

*le time skip*

Bakugou and I arrived at the common room and Kirishima immediately gave us our food and put spicy sauce on bakugou's. "Aria come over here." I heard mina say excitedly. "Hey Mina, hey girls." I greeted. we made conversation till I was done with my food. and chatted with everyone. "and that's how it's been since." Izuku said finishing on how he and bakugou knew each other and how over time his superiority complex dissolved. "wow who knew?" I responded.  "It is getting late we should all turn in for the night." Iida said. everyone agreed and started heading to their dorms. "come on we'll take you to bakugou's dorm. he already left to study." Sero said. We were cracking jokes and getting along all the way there. "Welp, here you are, bakugou's lovely abode." Denki said. I giggled and said thank you, guys."  They all murmured their 'ur welcome and' good nights'. I opened the door and saw posters of all might, his bed, a nightstand on one side, and a desk on the other. There was also a closet. On the other side of the room, there was a similar setup but without a bed and I saw another door that I assumed was the bathroom.  I looked in the closet to see that everything was neatly organized. I saw bakugou at his desk, with headphones in and doing work. I decided to take a shower. I grabbed undergarments, PJs, a towel, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. Once I entered the bathroom, I locked it. I got undressed and started the shower, once it got warm enough I hopped in. I let the water run down my body and started thinking about the way bakugou looked at me and also what he did that morning. 'Maybe he got used to me.' I thought. 'But the way he looked at me wasn't in a friendly way. Right?'

Bakugou's pov

I finished my work and took out my headphones to hear the water running 'Must be Aria.' I thought. I thought back to the way I stared at her and staring at her pink soft luscious lips. what the fuck is wrong with me. There's no way I'm developing feelings for her.  I only like her as a friend. The last time I fell in love didn't end well. No. This is strictly platonic. I'm not gonna fall. 'She's just a friend and roommate. Right?' I thought.  Just then the shower stopped.  I got my stuff and waited for her. when she opened the door, she looked surprised. "Shower's all yours." she said looking into my eyes. I nodded and said "yea." "Oh, and which side of the bed do you prefer?" she asked. "I don't care. Take whatever side you want." I told her and closed the bathroom door. I brushed my teeth since I already took a shower. I walked out to see Aria on the left side of the bed. I turned off my lamp and took off my shirt. I went to the right side and kept the space between Aria and me.  I got comfortable and fell asleep.
