Chapter 15

Aria's pov

I woke up to the sun in my eyes and groaned. I slowly opened my eyes and saw the blinds open and I lifted my head to look at Katsuki's bed empty and my father on the edge of my bed, grading papers. "Hey, you're awake." I heard my dad say. "Hey dad, Where's Kats?." I asked. "He went to work out." My dad responded.  "Wanna go out for brunch, I wanna talk to you about something." My dad said.  "Sure, I needed to ask you some things anyways." I told him getting up from my bed and walking to my closet. "Okay, I'll come back to pick you up at 12." My dad said leaving with his papers. I looked at the time and 10:45 stared back at me. I grabbed my clothes, necessities, and towel and headed to the bathroom.  I looked in the mirror and saw the hickey Kats gave me. 'Fuck I hope my dad didn't see that.' I thought. I shook my head and started the shower. 

*20 minutes later*

I walked out as fresh as a daisy and put everything away. I kept the look casual since it was only my dad. (clothes at the beginning of the chapter ) I grabbed my makeup bag when katsuki walked in. "Hey, princess, where you headed?" He asked while putting down his duffel bag. I walked into the bathroom and said "I'm going to brunch with my dad. He wanted to talk to me and I needed to talk to him." I started looking for something to cover up the hickey since he marked the column of my neck.  Kats came behind me and wrapped an arm around my waist and his other grabbed my chin and turned me towards him.  I looked at him as he looked at my lips. He leaned in and gave me a peck on my lips, then another and another. "Kats, I need to cover up the hickey." I said. he groaned but let me go and kissed my cheek before exiting the bathroom. I covered the hickey up and saw  Kats sitting up on his phone in his bed. I looked at the time and saw it was 11:45. I went over to Katsuki and sat on his thighs. One of his hands was on my hips to steady me while the other was holding his phone. "what are you looking at?"  I asked. "Sparky sent me a meme. Don't worry about it."  He responded and threw his phone on his bed. He put his other hand on my other hip and looked me in the eyes. "beautiful girl." He muttered, leaning in and kissing me. The kiss was gentle and soft and wasn't rushed. We broke the kiss to breathe and we rested our foreheads against one another. There was a knock so Kats gave me a peck on the lips and pulled me up with him so he could put me on my bed. He set me down and headed to his side. "Come in." I said acting busy with my phone.  My dad opened the door and saw Kats on his laptop watching some random video and me on my bed scrolling through TikTok. He looked warily at Katsuki and then turn towards me. "Ready to go kiddo?" He asked. "Yea let's go, See you later bakugou." I told him heading out the door with my father. "Later nerd." He responded not looking up from his laptop. My father and I headed out to our destination.  When we got there, we got seated and ordered. "while we wait for the food, what questions do you have?" My dad asked. "Did you know mom's true intentions?" I asked him. He sighed and looked out the window. "yes, I did. I tried everything for her to sincerely want you, but she only wanted you for your potential power." he responded.  " Did you lie to protect me?"I asked.   He stayed quiet while they set our plates on our table and once they were out of earshot, He said "yes, I did, she left and you admired you and I didn't  want you to think she abandoned you." I looked down at my food. "It was the best decision for you, you were only 4."  He said.  "Did you sincerely love me when I was born dad?" I asked him. He finished chewing and gave me a soft smile. "Of course, I did, I was the first one to hold you while your mom ordered a blood test to see if you had the werewolf DNA in you." He replied. "So she was after it even after being in labor?" I asked.  "Yes, when the DNA results came back negative, she said that you would develop it before the age of 4. When you didn't show any signs, she left and told me to keep you saying you were a pathetic useless child."  He said.  I finished my food and looked out the window. "All this time I thought she loved me." I said. My dad reached over and grabbed my hand. "Your mother was a terrible person who only wanted to use you for your potential power. Hopefully, while she's in prison, she'll become better." He said.  "Yea hopefully." I told him.
