why do you hate him so much?

"y/n. why do you hate him so much? hes never done anything to you!" Daphne asked me. It was a Saturday, and neither of us had anything to do. we were just talking, and the subject just suddenly landed on him.

"i dont know, okay? its just something about him. it makes me irritated. the way he carries himself, the way he talks, the way he smiles in that sweet way... no. he just irritates me." i told her sternly, but she pressed on.

"you like his smile?" she wiggled her eyebrows at me.

no. i hate his smile...right?

"no of course not!" i said, a bit bewildered by the effect the question had on me.

she smirked at me, which made me bury my face in my pillow. there is no way i like him. no. fucking. way. he was my enemy! ive hated him since forever! but he is rather attractive... and very kind to people... oh. em. gee. i like harry potter.

i lifted my head out of my pillow, my eyes wide with realization.

"Daph..." i whispered, turning towards her smirking face.

"yeeaahhh?" she asked, the smirk staying plastered on her lips.

"i think i like harry potter." the sentence was barely audible, but she grinned nonetheless. "i knew it!" she exclaimed.

"shhhh!" i shushed her. she was grinning like an idiot. i hated myself for admitting that. that meant i was going to have to acknowledge it every time i saw his stupid face.

"okay. so maybe i do like him. but i cant show it! everyone knows us as enemies! to him, im the female Draco Malfoy!" i told her desperately.

she just smirked at me. "im just going to leave you to your thoughts. if you need me, ill be in the common room." she slipped out of the room once she saw my acknowledgment.

damn you harry potter..

okay, so ik i said the other chapters would be longer, but i mean the main ones. the fillers are automatically going to be rlly short. i hope you enjoyed it anyway. the next chapter is a main one so be ready! ;)
